i'm new here, but i'm not new to android.
well i program in C, C++ and JAVA. and i'm wrinting an APP that needs some low level programing that use the Bluetooth.
now i have the code already running on my PC but i want to make a bin file that i can run through the terminal in my HTC desire.
my question is, where can i find a good guide that can explain me how to cross compile C code into an ARM arch, so that later on i can use in my android?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I cannot get the rom kitchen to install in the virtualbox, I extract it like the tutorial says but can't get to the terminal ? I go to applications & it wants me to create the action or something, I'm confused here if somebody could help me out with this DISXDA's Rom Kitchen I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
I windows 7 64-bit laptop, but im not familiar woth computer programs. I need a little help as far as setting up eclipse, apktool, which program is best for unzipping or unraring, and how to get it up and rinning. The guides ive checked out i dont fully understand, so could someone give me a little simple explanation of how to get all this up and running, and what to use?

7-Zip, download it here then execute the downloaded file and just follow the installation instructions..
I hope i have this in the right forum. I am trying to edit some of the code for my android firmware. Mainly Aboot.bin but i can't find a program or site that will decode the code to plain text so i can read what everything says. I want to read it so that i don't mess up my phone if i edit the wrong line and then flash it to the phone. Im using Win7 if that helps any.
Will Some One Plz tell me a program that decodes on Windows Machines?

Hi,
I'm trying to learn Android programming.
In order to do so, I have extracted an apk in order to understand how it works.
My goal is to enhance an existing apk, for personal purpose, and I taught that it is the best way to start.
So now I have my source extracted from an apk.
How can I add it to Android Studio so I can start to debug it and later add the new functionalities that I will like to add to it ?
