I am pretty sure I unlocked voice recorder via G3 Tweakbox. Once it is unlocked it shows up during active phone calls via a button on the left side in the stock app next to the speakerphone button.
Video Trim is accessed by opening the stock Gallery app, choosing the left menu and selecting video. Open a video that is not locked, go to the menu in the upper right hand corner and you will see Trim. Select it and you can edit your videos.

I know this is a dumb issue, but it's what's missing to make my S6 perfect (well, aside from a GPE rom, but that's another issue...)
I ping pong rooted my S6, enabled softkeys, disabled back and recent capacitive keys. The only thing is... when using the stock camera app, a small part of it (including the shutter) gets behind part of the softkey.
Is there a way to hide the softkeys with some apps (Nexus usually do that) or a stock camera app with different dpi?
Edit: To e more precise, what is necessary is to make camera app work in immersive mode...
Thanks in advance,

Yo can activate expanded desktop (with Gravitybox for example) before open the camera app. I had the same problem and it's the best fix I found
My Galaxy s6 is an unlocked G920i.
When I open my contacts app and select a contact there is camera button between the call and text icon.

When I tap the camera button it looks like its starting a video call.
then it fails.
and just says call ended
Anybody know how to make this work? Whats strange is that my wife also has a GS6 but hers is the AT&T Version and does not have the camera icon so I thought maybe it was just a unlocked feature but when I was at Best Buy they had AT&T and Verizon versions on display and they all had the button too except for 2 of them. So... does anyone know how to make it work or what app is needed to make it run? Also, does anyone know why some phones have it while others dont?
Bump... come on guys. I need help.

I don't think this is a default notification.
You can find all default notifications here http://eguides.sprint.com/support/e.../samsung_galaxy_s8_s8_plus_ug/status_bar.html
I think that the 'N' comes from a third-party app. Have you installed any apps lately?

I think he's talking about the icon hovering over his home button.
You shouldn't ask the same question in multiple places on the same forum.
It looks like the circle and X you drag chat heads to to remove them off the screen when you're using Facebook Messenger.
s8 plus
Im using Nova launcher, i was talking about the "x" that pop up on my home button.
Ps: i'm using AT&T not sprint
Instead of relying on a third-party app for screen recording, EMUI has a great screen recorder baked into the system.
To activate screen recording, hold power + vol up. Then you will be asked to select your audio input. There is no limit to the amount of time that you can record, so just make sure you have enough space. I made a 1:20:00 recording and it ended up being 2.6GB, but this will change depending on your screen resolution. Your recordings will save as an .mp4 file.

The screen recording feature is very useful and has several features that you would normally have to pay for in a third party app. The ability to record for an unlimited amount of time, and record system audio are usually only accessible through premium screen recording apps.
Normally I like Google's grasp on functionality but this one bugs me. Which is the more common task when using Messages... Voice to Text or recording a voice file to send via text? That's a pretty easy choice. So I want to force the text box microphone to start voice to text rather than saying "press and hold to record audio". The single press doesn't even do anything except show that message.
I'm not holding my breath that anything can be done about this but it doesn't hurt to ask. Thank you!
Default behavior. Message to press and hold for audio recording.

Default view with keyboard exposed. I want to either swap or override the function of the top microphone to start voice to text.
