[Q] MMS sending in landscape?

Roms are out, android modifications are coming every day...software, updgrades, new ways to use phone to start cars, tvs, baby monitors...now can/has any figured out how to fix the mms or facebook upload issue where it only sends a landscape picture even if it was taken in portrait??? Very very annoying. My wife has an Epic 4G and it has frankfroyo v25xxx and runs nice currently but am done with the sideways uploads. Does anyone know if stock eb13 software fixes this? If so I will have to flash it any will never understand why it hasn't/can't be fixed. I own a EVO 4G that has myn's rom along wih many other things tailored to my liking and it works flawlessly. It uploads as many as I check at a time to facebook, sends pictures the way I took them, has been a rock w the software thats on it. My old Eris would send pictures correctly but my Moto Droid would send sideways also. Is it the Gallery app that is causing these issues? Sense vs AOSP? Seems like a crock of **** to be so frustrated with such a nice expensive phone, same network (sprint) and my EVO is superior based upon it's ability to function correctly as a smart phone right now. Please help and change my mind about all phones that aren't HTC because currently is HTC-2
all other phones-0 (that would send correctly including every AOSP phone I know of)
Is there a fix? Sorry for the soapbox rant.

[Q] Front Facing camera quality on GingerBread

Ok I'm rooted and been playing with some of the current GingerBread roms, on some of the first roms the FFC didn't work at all. No it works but the quality of the picture lookes like it's a "Characture Drawing" (colors look like a old webcam) and Not a clear picture like on Froyo. So withoput having to go back to Froyo and change all the radios and things to test it out I'd like to ask what others are seeing with theirs? Or is my FF camers brokeand need to go back to Verizon?

[Resolved] Wanting old Sensation 1080p camera back.

So here's my issue: I have an HTC Sensation 4g (brilliant phone) which is rooted, and custom rom'd with CyanogenMod 9, the Nightly build. I have the latest version installed, and I love everything about it. I have one small issue though. I really miss the old camera from the Sense Rom. Is there any way to get the old camera back? Or is there a camera I can download that will basically replace it?
I loved taking 1080p photos with my phone, but now I feel like the quality and size of the pictures I take have dropped when I switched to ICS CM9. I read up on some mods to get the old camera back but they claim you need Sense installed on your phone. (Which I believe is a memory waster) I got rid of it to move on, but I wish I brought the camera with me.
Any suggestions?

This doesn't solve the problem. I want to keep my ROM. Its an amazing one and don't plan on abandoning it.

That IS a better solution, but not the one I want. I want to keep the Rom that I have but get the old camera or the equivalent of it back.
I like Camera360, but it doesn't take video. It takes the same size photos, but it can't record video. Know any apps like C360 that DO record video?

Infuse front facing camera + hangout not working

Hi all.
I am trying to figure out why when I start a Google hangout, my wife's Infuse refuses to use the front facing camera, it defaults to the rear camera. Everything else works, but would like it to have the ffc as the default.
It doesn't even give me a choice to flip to which camera to use during the hangout.
It is a rooted + unlocked Infuse ATT, using the stock froyo 2.2.1 rom.

i dont think froyo has the camera framework for front facing video outside the camera program. the first version of android to support that was gingerbread because of its launch device, the nexus s. you should upgrade to gingerbread and try again. though to have it in a google hang out, you might even need ics or higher. im not sure.

S3 camera recommendations, hyperx, uninstalling native apps

First post here obviously. I got a phone from ebay and bricked it the same day. Sent it in for JTAG. So hopefully it will be okay. It came with CM10. I noticed the burst shot didn't work to well and a few camera features where missing. Of course I fear damaging it again when i get it back. I came to the conclusion it's pretty much pointless to be installing roms. It seems like everyone has some bugs.
I want my phone stocked now, now I want to be able to uninstall native apps, free up some space. My dilemma is I remember reading that CM10 had better picture quality than the stock camera. Not sure if that's true, is it? The CM10 cam didn't have best picture, the burst shot would stutter and skip. I was playing games on it before it got bricked through emulators. Is there any stock processes I should be aware of that would use up CPU and memory usage that can slow down games? Is the CM10 really better than the stock camera? Also, I would love to have the hyperx video recording. Is it possible to install that?
I have the T999 version.
