Been looking for a way to have the notifications come in minimized view the notification center. Mine always come expanded. Is there a setting I'm missing or a tweak in exposed I've missed? It's very minute but just annoys me.
One of my few complaints with LG g2 and g3. I haven't seen a fix.

I have done some looking on this issue and it seems that there may be no solution, but I thought I would post in this forum nonetheless to see if anyone had any ideas. One of the little things that bugs me about my touch pro is how the title bar behaves when there are multiple notifications that are awaiting disposition. For example, when there is one reminder, say a task is due, I hit the title bar and the HTC large title bar comes up allowing me to hit the enlarged bell icon and bring up the reminder. This works great for me. However, where there are more than one notifications pending, say a reminder and an new email envelope or a missed call, if you hit the enlarged bubble, a new bar is brought up immediately below the title bar that shows all of the pending notifications -- the trouble is that these notifications on the second level are so damned small that I often need to get out the stylus just to access them. It would be great if this second level of notification bar were also enlarged to make it finger friendly. Any thoughts on whether this can be done?
The second thing that annoys me is the email envelope in the title bar. I am happily using TF3D which gives me a clear indication of how many new emails are in my inbox. However, most of the time, I need to actually open my mailbox to get rid of the little envelope in the title bar. This is redundant and a waste of time (and also exacerbates the issue above with multiple notifications). I don't think there is a solution to this problem, but again thought I would ask.
Thanks in advance.
Ok, so I love my new Honor 8...for $350, its about 10x better than my LG G5 ever was (the G5 is garbage). It does have a few quirks that bug me...
1. What is up with the old style notifications where the words scroll on top of the screen? The last time I had that, was when I had an LG Optimus V. How do I change this?
2. What is up with the weird notification icons? Like, instead of the facebook messenger icon showing up on the bar, I get a small square of my friends profile picture. What is up with this. and how do I go to more normal notification icons?
3. How do I disable default lock screen so I can use the one I set and stop having the old one show up?
Thanks guys!
1) Are you talking about Banner Notifications? If so, there's an option to turn those on or off on a per app basis with the other types of notifications.
2) If there is such an option I never found it.
3) Changing the Lock Screen style in the Huawei Themes app from "Magazine Unlock" should do it?

Just got Oreo, and it appears there's no way to see notification text or interact with notifications using the S View Cover anymore. I can't dial or take pictures anymore either - anyone know of a fix? This is especially annoying considering that I just got a new cover as my old one was worn out. Dial/photos wasn't that critical, but seeing notification texts so that I could read incoming emails without opening the cover was.
I have the problem as flinx1, including that the clock is displayed on two lines instead of one!! Terribly annoying and amateur behavior from samsung developer.
Does anyone know have to fix this?
Disappointed with same issues--no phone or camera from S View window, and can't preview notifications.
Change clock display for S View window in Settings, Advanced features, Accessories, Clock and FaceWidgets.
Hey everyone. First I want to say I hope everyone is hanging in there during this very tough time. I'm having a problem with my Note 10. It's on Tmobile and I bought it from Tmobile. It's 100% stock and I've done usual updates from Tmobile OTA. I have recently seen that my missed calls do not show in my notification panel. If I pull the notification panel down into extended view, missed call icon is not showing there either. If I go to the Phone app and tap on recents I CAN there see missed calls. This is causing a major issue for me. Can anyone help? I also have gone to settings -> notifications -> phone and show notifications is grayed out.. but it's grayed out in the ON position. Also missed calls, voicemails are also grayed out in the same phone panel.. but in the on position. I'm really confused what is going on. I just want the missed phone icon to show in my notification panel because I often have my sound off. Any help would be great thanks!
My flip 3 cover screen often displays the orange notification dot even though there are no notifications when i swipe to check. It makes me check my phone far too often and is pretty annoying overall.
Does anyone how to fix this?
I can't seem to find any information about the issue anywhere else.
Check what notifications you have appearing. The orange dot will appear for most notifications and foreground services by default.
Settings -> Notifications
A bug for sure, happens to me all the time as well, an orange dot but when I open the phone, no new notifications or opened apps whatsoever. Hopefully it will be fixed in some of the upcoming software updates.
Yes this is very annoying happens to me all the time with WhatsApp messages. I'm also noticing there's a delay in my whatsapp and gmail push notifications. Compared to my old pixel or iPad - those are pretty instantaneous.
