Hi yusopa,
You're more than welcome. I liked it too... so asked to be able to port it to Tilapia. And thanks to the wonderful people at CandyROM, I was able to do so.
So enjoy it
Regards.
So many features man. And smooth too. So I stay with this ROM as long as you port it man.
Hi Guys,
I have tried searching a lot in different XDA forums but haven't been able to find a definitive answer - is it possible to make GSM phone calls from nexus 7 3G on newer ROMS such as this one? Can someone please clarify this?
Thanks.

Hi smartymanav,
From what I've read here and there, some people have tried and I think some succeeded. But success was granted after difficult operations... and apparently with random results.
I reckon you've read the whole thread dedicated to this on this forum... I stopped monitoring it some time ago, so can't tell for sure if the project succeeded.
May I ask why you want to do that ? Is it because you want a single device bigger than a phablet to make your calls ? Or is to have mutiple SIM to make calls ?
Regards

Hi,
Can you describe a little more what's happening ?
Does it occur on boot or is it in the middle of something ?
Does it occur whilst just playing with the ROM or while you're working on a specific app ?
First thing to do is to enable "Root" and then reboot.
Please do so... and tell me if that error reappears.
I think I have played about 3 weeks with my Tilapia... and have had no FC or else at all
Regards.
i didn't nothing special. it's enough swipe down notification bar and the problem is present.
Sorry for my simple english
Did a clean flash two days ago. All is working good. No problems so far.
Untill now it´s very smooth, much better than other N7 3g ROMs.

Can you please explain the way you overclocked your N7 3G?
I don´t know what "multi core controller" is.

Sweet. Thanks for the hard work. Can't wait for this one. Quick question though, can we use the sweetener pack after its been installed or does it gotta be done in the same recovery session as a fresh install?
CandyKat is everywhere!!
Excellent work! Wish I still had my 7.....
Can you add some screenshots?
I always like it when I can get a sneak peek of how the ROM looks like but I am gonna give it a try Tom anyway

We are implementing many features similar to beanstalk. Their were a lot of things I didn't really use in bs and we have been wanting to make an official candy shop room for some time now. Scott does amazing work with beanstalk and I commend him for all of his work. This is just something more personal being that we are doing the work on it ourselves. :highfive:

Sorry man, but I noticed there were a few different Sweetener packs options and wasn't certain which you intended to be flashed. Hopefully its natural cane sugar rather than the high fructose syrup stuff, or worse....saccharine.

Indeed....I thought you might "say" something like that. Reading now. Before asking, I really need to put my reading eyes to work before utilizing my typing fingers.
Very cool; a CandyKAT ROM for my VZW HTC One as well (as I quickly change the subject).

I seem to be having a problem with this rom, only 1. When I plug the USB into the computer it will charge but it will not recognize it as a USB and I cannot access the internal memory or test any of my themes with Eclipse. This is the only time I've ever ran into this. I tried redownloading and reflashing this wrong numerous times and it still will not recognize it when I plug it in. Is this happening to anybody else with this ROM I'm just wondering? Other than that this ROM is pretty solid but because of that I can't use it.

By the way, have you thought about adding lockscreen notifications from AOSPAL? That is one of the only features that I am missing since I switched this morning.

Yeah we were deciding between active notifications and lock screen notifications. I'm leaning more toward lockscreen myself

One last thing, this isn't a feature though. On this device (and grouper, mako, and hammerhead), there is a mod called MultiROM which allows you to dual boot.
Well, you have to have a kernel with kexec-hardboot support and your ROM doesn't include it by default. While you can install a custom kernel to fix this, it is nice for it to be preinstalled!
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Hey fellas! Have you integrated a theme engine into the ROM? I like to apply Team Blackout's theme to invert my Gapps.
Thanks

Great work as usual!! [emoji12] everyone enjoy your new ROM [emoji13] it's sweet
How do I regain root after I flash this ROM? Somehow I lost it. I know there was something you could flash through recovery out there somewhere but I can't find it, if any knows where it is I'd be grateful to know, thanks in advanced

Here's a few. Don't mind the purple. Its kinda my color haha. You can also find some on our website. I normally try to keep screens as stock as possible but in this case I'll make an exception.
Very nice!!!!

I must say I'm very impressed with this ROM, great battery life and the level of customization through recovery is what really stands out! I have been using the phone for about an hour with screen on time with only a 4% battery drop! This is my new favorite ROM and I'm looking forward to seeing improvements on this already outstanding ROM!

So is this based on 4.2.2 sources or 4.4 sources? Just wondering so I know which baseband to be on before flashing.

This is 4.4.4.
We know that some of our 4.4.4 Roms use jb kernels and sources to run 4.4.4 Roms while others use regular 4.4.4 sources. U can tell by what modem u need to flash to get rotation working if you need a jelly bean radio to get rotation working then it's 4.2 sources

Thanks for the info. This is based off of slimrom source and uses their stock kernel. All the kernel source can be found at http://www.github.com/SlimRoms
Yea pretty sure slimrom is 4.2 sources their night lies are 4.4 not their stable builds. But that's how it use to be ihavent run slim I usually stick to mahdi. I'll flash this and report weather we need to flash a jb or kk modem

The whole thing is really wierd only phone I've had that's fine this before. But when the cm team released 4.4 they just hacked jb sources to get 4.4 to run properly. So even though it says it 4.4 it mostly is but the bootloader and kernel stayed 4.2. so people will always ask weather the rom is 4.2 or 4.4 sources because the user would need to flash a different modern to get it to run properly. If we flash a kk modern on a jb source kk rom rotation and a couple other things will not work until they flash a jb modem. And I believe most people think pure kk sources run a lot smoother now than jb sourced ROMs. In sorry if you knew all of this just trying to help someone out . this phones confusing as hell for the aosp side of roms

I'm using it as my dd with no major issues. The sweetener packs are visual mods that ate flashed in recovery via an aroma installed. Check it out you may like it :good:
