My name is Marcos Alba and I'm the co-founder of a collective gambling platform called SocialBets. As you know, gambling apps are not allowed in Google Play and we are figuring out the best way of distributing the app among our users. So far, we are considering these options (ordered by preference):
1 - Stub app that allows to download the complete version. The idea is to upload to Google Play the complete app eliminating the payment process and at some point allow users to download the complete app and explain them the process step-by-step.
2 - Upload the app to some other marketplace: Amazon Appstore, etc.
3 - Place a link with the apk in our website.
Which option do you think is best? Do you know any other way of doing this?

After some magic tricks i got it from market!
It working well on my Asus Transformer with Prime 1.5 (just cut-off may be 15px from bottom of screen in Mobage general application).
How-To: download "Market Unlocker" from Market. Set "Auto start" checkbox and choose "T-mobile". After restarting you will see in status bar message something like "Market unlocked as T-mobile". Start Market and search "Mobage" (it don't show this application directly in my case - don't know why), choose any game with title "* for Mobage" and find Mobage in reference links - click it and install - profit!

Hi. I want to make a simple Android app but I have no programming experience.
I want to make an app that categorizes Android games and I choose the games in each category. It's basically like a list of games in different categories and they lead to the game page on the Google Play Store.
How hard would it be to make an app like this for someone with no coding/programming knowledge? And any tips on what I should learn in order to make this app?

You can do it yourself very easily using a tool such as WiziApp.
You will need a Wordpress blog where you can install plugins (therefore wordpress.com is excluded, but any cheap shared hosting would be enough), add the game categories as blog categories, and then add games. Wiziapp would then generate an app for you. Data is taken online, so a permament Internet connection is required while using your app. But this should be no problem for you because you want people to go to Google Play anyway.

Hey! This idea is good but old. Google Play have new Politics! He look for everyone User that give a 5 stars raiting how many days this User used this app or game! Ratings that comming from Users that using under 2-3 days your app get deleted! Sorry but with new Politics of Google Play is your app not helpfull!
