[Q] adb unable to find DA220HQL - General Questions and Answers

I have tried everything to get my DA220HQL to be list as a device with adb but I just can't get it to be recognised? I have tried USBDeview to install and try again, there are no specific drivers for this device and I have enabled the USB Debugging on developer options.
Anyone got any other ideas as it seems that others can connect to this device for rooting?

[Q] ADB from Transformer to Android Phone

Is it possible to connect an Android phone via USB Debugging to the Transformer's USB port to be able to send ADB commands to the phone?
I don't have the TF yet, so haven't tried, but thought I'd get some insight from others if anyone has had success.
Thanks in advance!

Well, it used to be working before the latest firmware upgrade. Maybe I lost it because my device is unrooted now.
Anyways, adb binary is installed by default, but it fails to detect my phone.
Will keep you posted.
Just to confirm, it's working after rooting my device (using the latest firmware 8.4.4.11). ADB to Samsung Galaxy ACE.

ADB not working but Fastboot is

I recently bought a YU YUPHORIA . When i tried to root it I was stuck at waiting for device. I checked on different forums and somehow everybody was telling about how the ADB drivers are not installed. I tried different methods . I tried to update the Android Composite ADB Interface as they had worked for a lot of other people but they didn't work with my phone. Then i tried to install ADB drivers with the help of Pdanet but the Pdanet was stuck at Trying to install Pdanet on your phone. When i write fastboot commands like fastboot -i 0x2A96 devices my device is recognised. But when i write adb devices my device doesn't show up. Please help because I really need to use this phone for app development purposes but Android Studio is also not recognising my device. I have managed to root my device but can't solve this problem of ADB not detecting my device.
Usb debugging is enabled and i Have tried uninstalling all android drivers . But then the android ADB interface is shown in other drivers with yellow mark and when i try to update it same thing happens "Window unable to install drivers"
Is their any hardware problem with my Device.?

First, be sure you have enabled USB debugging in developer options. Also, you may have to uninstall all android drivers from your PC and then reinstall the specific drivers for your device.

OK, try to update manually. Select update driver, then choose let me pick, then navigate to where you have the new driver.

Unable to Root Moto G Turbo 2015 Edition

Hello All,
I am trying to root Moto G Turbo 2015, however the same is not been recognized by the system.
Things that I have tried:
1. Tried Motorolla drivers as in shared in the thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/problem-moto-g-recognized-pc-t2793861
2. Tried with official Moto Device Manager
3. Tried to manually point Intel ADB USB drivers
4. Tried on both Windows 7 SP1 x64 and Ubuntu 18.04
5. Tried with multiple USB cables
None of the methods have worked out yet. Can you please give me a solution?
PS: The USB Debugging is already enabled.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Have you tried KINGOROOT
Website: https://www.kingoapp.com/
If you still can't root try installing custom recovery ( I suggest TWRP)
However most of all you might need to unlock the bootloader of your phone in order to root.
Website For Bootloader Unlock : https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a
Anyways since your computer is not recognizing the device try uninstalling and removing all the drivers using USBdeview
Website: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
This software will remove installed drivers of any device which was previously connected.
Make sure you have a high quality USB cable , it might also affect the connection.
And also make sure that no dust or dirt is in your phone's micro USB port.
If non of them work there might be a problem with your phone's micro USB connection.
I heard that these phones cannot be fixed as they are sealed and removing the battery can cause problems to the phone. Or even worse the phone will simply die.
So make sure you do plenty of online research.
Regards

One time on my Win10 Laptop ADB wouldn't see my Moto phone. I think I had to dig into the Device Manager as per this fix,
