I am planning to remake a 2nd partition...which would be better, ext 3 or 4? Coz i cant link anything to my sd with link2sd plus...when im trying to link data, it is always saying "link2sd package invalid"
Thanks for your response..
Hi there,
ext4 has a few more features, for exmaple it can hold bigger files, have more directories and mount even more file systems. But for what you are trying to achieve either will suffice!
For further questions about link2sd I'd suggest asking in the thread [APP][1.6+] Link2SD
You have asked a very similar question in the Assist forum earlier today, please use the links provided or ask in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear developers,
Recently I got a new phone Vivo Y22 with Funtouch OS v1.0 (Christmas present). Its was okay at first then it start telling me that storage has not enough space (with only factory apps and Clean Master). I realize the it had about 4GB internal storage but divided to 2 parts. 2.5GB for system space and 1.06GB as internal storage. In system space, i have only 150mb left I always need to use Clean Master to wipe cache before I download anything. I tried Link2SD, I formatted my SD card and set 4GB partition as EXT2 but did not detect. Same goes for EXT3 and EXT4. It only works for FAT32 but some files cannot be linked using this format. Read some threads in web, they mentioned some phone does not support EXT2,3,4 format. Maybe this is my case? I tried to look for informations about Vivo Y22 but very less and worst, some of them is in chinese.
So the 1st question is: How can I increase the system space? Could I adjust the system space to occupy my more of my Internal Memory?
Second question is, how do I update my phone from JellyBean to KitKat? Do I follow tutorials that uses the same Chipset (Y22 uses MediaTek MT6582)? How if I want to install custom ROMs like CM11 (can't find Vivo Y22 in Device section in CM site so i presume it is not supported?)?
Thanks in advance..

It is because I couldn't find much info online, that's why i opted to ask here thanks anyway. Could the moderator be kind enough to move this to "Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting" section? I don't wanna bump thread. If anyone have any ideas about this problem, I'm still here waiting.

Hi, please do you know how to mount the full disk (all partitions) of an android device so that I can make a "dd" backup for another phone? (same model) Thanks for help!
ooops sorry! I'm in the wrong forum, can you move my thread to the right place please?
Hi,
I can't have it moved, because you never mentioned any devices?
Though, if this is about your PC more than the devices... Or multiple devices issue, you should ask for help here...

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Fortunately, there is an XDA forum dedicated to your Samsung Galaxy Core II at http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/galaxy-core-2. I suggest you ask your question there where the experts familiar with your device can best help you find a suitable application to move some of your data to the external SD card.
Good Luck!

Sorry about that! At least you can still read and search that forum for information. The Google Play Store has various apps to accomplish what you have in mind, but not all work for all devices and you'd have to experiment a bit
Until you can post in development forums, you could try asking in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where other users of your device might be able to point you in the right direction.
Good Luck!

You can post about your Galaxy 2 in the Q&A or General section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core
You will have better luck finding an answer in that section.
Good luck,
