[Completed] HELP, Xperia J Locked Bootloader ROM - XDA Assist

Hi!!
I have a Sony Xperia J 11.2.A.0.31 with root and a locked bootloader
I would like to install the rom Dark Moon. AVD Rom 4.1.2 but being Portuguese I have difficulty in understanding the steps.
I'm new at this, perhaps with a better explanation of the steps, or images, I would perceive better
Sorry for my bad english
Thanks

Hi,
This is the rom you mean?
Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Android Development > [ST26i] Dark Moon. AVD Rom 4.1.2 [locked/unlocked Bootloaders]V1.6 Released 22nd Sept
The instructions are there. You just need to follow them. If you don't understand, you may need to read up some more and get a better understanding of what it all means. You can post questions in that thread, but need 10 posts before you can.
In the meantime, you would need to ask for help here...
> Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

Hi!
Yes it is. Can you explain me briefly? I have 2 files: A ROM.zip and a .ftf file.
I understand that:
1) Install CWM
2) wipedata/factory reset wipe cache partition, wipe Dalvik cache
3) Install a rom.zip
4) fix permitions
5) flash a ftf file.
Correct?

I'm sorry, but I'm no expert with that device. Please use the link I gave you to ask in the Q&A section for your device. Or, if that is what the rom instructions day, then I see no issue.
Please understand, XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site. We don't do support here. ?

[Completed] [Q] how to install kitkat on xperia e dual

Hi
I'm new to the rooting concept
Have installed my device (XPERIA E Dual) with framaroot and root checker nd it says the device has ROOT ACCESS
From here on I'm at sea
Tried to follow the tutorials n other videos only to get confused with bootloaders????....etc things
can anyone give the detailed procedure for this op.
Thanks in advance........
Hi
I'm not sure what you are trying to ask? You rooted and it worked... Now you want to install kit Kat? Official or a custom rom? Custom roms have instructions for flashing in their opening posts usually.... But you need a custom recovery to do so. Which means an unlocked bootloader. Framaroot root won't get you a custom recovery.... It will only allow you to use apps that require root.
Try reviewing this thread...
> Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Android Development > [E(dual)][TWRP + CWM] Stock Kernel with Dual Recovery
Read through it and some answers should be answered.
If you still need help, you can post in the above thread , or here in your devices Q&A section...
> Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
Thank u very much

[Completed] [Q] xperia j now what?

hi there ! ive literally just rooted my phone and i got that supersu and i dont know what to do now. i really hope i can update my phone or root or whatever and make my j fast enough to play better games and large enough to have games lol.please help
Hi,
Rooting your device isn't really going to make your device faster, or increase storage.... Root mostly is to allow apps that require system access to function. That's about it. There are certain tweaks you can do, and you can use an external sd card to share some of the storage....... I suggest you read through this frequently asked questions thread in your device section ,
> Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Miro, Tipo (Dual) and J
And if you have further questions, you can ask here,
> Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Though searching or browsing through that Q&A section will likely find answers in existing threads faster than asking and waiting. ?
Good luck!

Check here: Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E > ROMs.
And there are more custom ROMs in the Android development and Original Android development forum.
If you have further questions, please register on xda and ask in the Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
