Hello everyone! I have major difficulties to root my phone.
Searching in the web, I checked that two versions of this device have been launched:
Galaxy Star PLUS and Galaxy Star PRO. (Both versions are the same model S7262)
Right here on xda has a method of performing the root but only for the PRO device. I flash the stock rom for Galaxy Star PRO but the device works only in the first 15 minutes. After this, the device does not function properly and restart every time.
Is there any way to transfer the KERNEL from the original stock rom that works on my device in Rom used for root?
(Sorry for my bad english, i am from Brazil and I'm using the google translator to write my problem for all you guys )

They are the same phone, just regional selling names

Instructions on how to root your I9000B are on this blogpost. I have followed them on mine and it worked fine.

Now... about adding "extra" functionality on your phone. Remember you're doing this at your own risk. I've managed to lose some functionality (Mobile AP tethering) on mine just by installing ClockworkMod Recovery.
Even if the CM guys get 6.1 on the GT-I9000, the I9000B is yet another (probably) completely different phone.

I just got a new galaxy note 10.1 from South Korea and I have some questions.
I tried to find a guide to root the device but I couldn't find anyone specific for this model,
and I'm not sure if it's because I'm new to android (former apple fan, first android based device I own),or just because there aren't any
I hope someone can help me and guide me a little bit

I have the samsung galaxy note 10.1 model SHW-M480W android 4.1.2
And also another quastion
What rom can I use for this model? Is there aquivalent GT-8*** rom I can use?

I've got the same model that I bought when I lived in Korea last year. The file I've used to root is called
CF-Auto-Root-p4notewifiany-p4notewifiany-shwm480w.tar.md5
I got it somewhere here on the forum (don't remember where, so search for it. I just install it with Odin (again, read the root section on how to use Odin)
As for other firmware, I haven't had much luck. For some reason, the FW installs, but won't fully boot (boot-loops at Samsung screen). I haven't asked any of the smart people on here for help, but there is probably some trick to it. This model appears identical hardware-wise to the 801x models, but I guess it's not. I ran into the same problems with my original Galaxy S phone when I lived in Korea, only it was much different hardware-wise than the international version.
So rooting is easy, other FW, I haven't had luck with, but I haven't tried that hard to change it, either. There have been a few posts specific to this model on here, so search for them, too. But again, very little info on this model.

Hey dude, try VROOT. Its a Chinese app but they have a english one too (slightly bad grammar one) I did the same, and it installed some Chinese superuser. Later I just installed SuperSU from play store.

2 years ago I buy my galaxy s4 unlocked version from amazon.com. When I came back to Turkey I registered the Cellphones imei. After that I rooted my galaxy s4. I watch lots of tutorials and most of it did not work out. At the last try I was able to root my device. After a year my uncle bought me a gear 2 neo which needed a higher version of android. So i plug my galaxy s4 and updated trough kiosk. The result was my galaxy s4 was mys galaxy s4 lost its root acsess was gone and system was updated. Also most of the apps first run and then give a error. For example i downloaded can knockdown 3. First it worked fine then it stopped working. One of my friend suggested I need to downlad a rom and suggested cyanogenmod. I tried one button installer but it said the device is not supperted for this installer. But my phone is listed in the supported devices(GTI9500). Please help me. My cellphone is slowly dying. Also last thing. They say making a change on the phone sometimes deletes the imei registiration.

Hi everyone i flashed my galaxy s6 smg920i with odin , after watching A vidio on youtube by MAX lee "how to convert your galaxy s6 into s7 edge" well I did everything single step and it worked, but I wanna return to fabric because my smartphone gets hot and slower, I tried to flash it again using a stock galaxy a6 firmware but It didn't work, pls help me out

Be sure that you flash the correct firmware for your device model , double check.
Don`t trust those kind of phone conversions , post or search here on xda before proceeding to any customisations
