Looking for programmer/developer

I'm having trouble finding the right way to locate someone in assisting me with my inquiry... I have an idea for an application, but don't know where to really start. I need to speak to someone who has the brains, patience, and desire to listen. The application would be something that every single employer, company, agency, or individual could benefit from. Anyone willing to contact me via text or email? My name is Jordan.
sorry to break this to you bud, but ideas are like a**holes... everybodys got one.
best way to go about it if you really do believe you have a good idea and are driven to bring it to fruition is to learn to program yourself.
here are some resources:
teach yourself programming in ten years:
http://norvig.com/21-days.html
how to ask good questions:
http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
wikibooks has material on many programming topics:

.... and if you really want to cop out:
rentacoder.com
good luck on your journey
I may get told off by the hardcore devs who know eclipse and java much better than I but if you want to write apps yourself but are new to it you can use a windows program called basic4android which lets you program in a visual basic type language that is very easy to learn and it then compiles it to proper apk file (no interpreter but a proper standalone market ready app).
I started using it last year and was able to code all sorts of apps from games to anti theft ones quite quickly, and it has a great user support forum.
It might be a good option to try as it is easy to learn but very powerful and means you could put your ideas into action yourself

Good Luck Finding Someone!
I still need a developer I can talk to so they can tell me whether this kind of app would be possible to create. Is there anyone on here that would be willing to contact me?
Google programming freelance
Google "programming freelance" and you will find lots of freelancing sites, I personally used odesk in the past, I had mixed success, my biggest problem was the heavy Indian accent, some things are just easier to say verbally then in writing, but if I dont understand his accent, this can be a problem

Where to start

Let me start by saying I have an android. I have an idea for an app, it's very simple, but I don't know where to start. I would kind of be a game. The only language I have experience with is C. I was wondering if anyone could help me with where to start? Whether it be making it myself(preferably) or having someone else do it. Thank you

Aplication working in communication with other apps

Hello guys.I do not know programming but I am interested if it is possible to make an app that works in the background of another existing and working app on the current device.
Oh, unfortunately, I haven't hear nothing about that)
I don't know your goal, but I think AsyncTask or Java Threads should fit your needs.
You can implement it using Messaging. Please, take a look this tutorial www. goo.gl/oT1rtR
I hope the tutorial will be helpful for you.
Thank for the answears but this doesn't help because i do not know programming. Here is my e-mail adress and i will explain you want i was thinking to develop.Thank you. [email protected]
On Android You need to learn about:
Thread,
AsyncTask,
Handler,
Sockets.
But probably this is a difficult things for a beginner.

Android App Development For Beginners - I'm New and Need Your Advice! Thanks!

Your Advice on Android App Development
Hello!
So I was hoping to get the advice on a few things regarding android app development from those of you are app developers. I am just now learning Java, learning Android Studios/IntelliJIDEA and I have no teacher (I use Lynda.com, TeamTreeHouse, and other resources) so I'd like to get the opinions and thoughts of others who have already created an app, do so all the time, or are working on their first app. In general, I am looking to get some answers from those who already know what to do and have done it before. I want to be sure I am doing things the right way. Or at the very least I want to be doing things the best possible way I can. So my questions:
What IDE do you use? (Android Studios/IntelliJ IDEA, Unity, etc)
Did you learn Java before building your First App?
Did you learn XML before Building your first App?
Where did you learn about the languages and technologies required? (Lynda.com, TeamTreeHouse.com, NewBoston, etc)
Are there any resources you can recommend to me as a beginner who has not yet built his first app?
If there is a question you can think of that I did not ask that might help please let me know.
Thank you for answering these questions!
I really want to make sure that I approach this the right way and that if I am going to commit myself to it I do so in a way that works, is tried, tested, and true. I want to make quality applications and I want to know what I'm doing while doing it. = )
Anyway, answering any of these questions would be truly helpful and I would appreciate it very much. Thank you!
