Hi guys,
I am using my work e-mail on my SG2+ device running latest stock 4.2.2, rooted. As an app I use the stock Android mail client. Recently I got the news from the administrator, that the mail policy has been changed and I have to encrypt my device in order to continue using the mail on my mobile phone.
Is there any app/method, which I can use in order to bypass the encryption and continue using the Exchange on my device?
Your answers are much appreciated!
Thanks

Hello,
I've installed slimkat 4.4.2 on mij p5110.
Normally, my tab synchronises job email and agenda items with the outlook exchange server.
The organisation rejects android 4.4.2 devices, due thru security issues. These devices are blocked en excluded in connection with the server.
Is there a way to make the server believe I'm connecting with a 4.2 android device?
I know i can downgrade my device, but thats not the sollution i'm looking for.
I hope to hear from you folks, thanks in advance.
Greetings senzas

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
... Android version incompatability?
What flavor of Android does the bank app require? Got a back up to revert back? Perhaps the update is now detecting root; most Bank app dislike having root access...anything in the change log of the bank app? Try flashing a the latest version of gapps...

Hi, I have a MID 9702T tablet, the firmware is screwed and I don't have the stock mail client for android 4.0.4 so I was looking to download a firmware for it from the net.
However I have been unable to find the manufacturer and so no firmware update.
I did get pointed to some Chinese sites but my AV blocked them as hosting malware.
I am happy to put any Rom on it that will work and give me a decent mail client with exchange support.
It is a 10" tablet, current fw build is 03F2-H1-H2-H01-CF40.20120815.
Please help!

Sorry ... there is no dedicated forum for your device on xda.
So you have to ask this in the General discussion > Questions and Answers > [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly. thread.
Alternatively you can try another email app, e.g. Cloudmagic, Nine or AquaMail (all available on Play store)
Thread closed ... thank you !
