Reflash ICS and follow Install instructions:
- If you are coming from JB or another, not ICS : advice of install firmware ftf (ICS) (ST26i_11.0.A.7.5_CE)
via flashtool (Flashmode)
- Copy the ROM.zip in Ext-card
- Extract the boot.img from the zip and flash the kernel with Flashtool (fastboot mode)
- Go into recovery (TWRP prefer - green LED)
-Wipe Cache- Dalvik Cache - Factory Reset - System
- Clear internal card (SD card)
- Flash Zip
- Wipe Cache-Dalvik Cache
- REBOOT

[Q] Live With Walkman

Ok I have a Sony Live With Walkman.I have unlocked the bootloader, rooted my phone and installed and have tried many custom roms on my phone.Every thing works fine but its such a long proceess for me to flash a rom.Every custom rom comes with its own boot.img file i.e. every rom has its own and different kernel. If I flash different kernel and install a different rom it results into a bootloop. It means if I use rom manger to flash a rom it results into bootloop as the kernel installed in it is of current running rom.I want to have a permanent kernel and I cant install kernels using rom manager as its not available for my phone .Steps I use to flash a rom
First I copy the gapps and custom rom zip folder onto sd card
Extract boot.img file from the custom rom on my pc
Open Flashtool
Open recovery my phone and wipe and format data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache.
Shut the phone
Connect my phone in fastboot mode by pressin volume buttons
Flastool displays that my device is sucessfully connected in fastboot mode
Click thunder sign in flashtool
Select fastboot mode
Select kernel to flash
Select the boot.img file that I previously extracted from the custom rom file
The kernel is flashed
Then i go into recovery
Again Wipe and format data,Wipe Cache,Wipe Dalvik Cache,.
Install Zip from sd card
Install custom rom zip file and gapps zip file
Installation is done. Then I reboot the phone

Unroot + Revert To Stock - NO USB!

I'm trying to restore my N5 to absolute stock, but I don't have use of the USB port at all, after it got in an argument with a puddle!
Ideally I want to put the device back to stock, so that it can be updated to 5.0, which I can't do at the moment as it's quite heavily customised/rooted which stops the updates installed.
Does anybody know if there's a way to do this? Thanks!
Yes it is, flash this file in your recovery.
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549862
That file is Android 4.4.4 Kitkat flashable zip file.
- Un-mount /system in TWRP/CWM
- Wipe: system, dalvik and cache (note: if you want to clean install, wipe data as well)
- Flash ROM (be patient - takes a while)
- Flash SuperSU (optional)
- Reboot
