Weird battery issue. - Verizon HTC One (M8)

I noticed last night when I was around 20% I booted to recovery to backup and twrp stated 1%. Booted back and phone stated 20%. Charged last night and I was just at 83% and flashed a cm11 kernel and now phone states 1%. Just going to wait for it to die before charging.
I'm always careful with the battery and never charge it until it hits 1%. Could be a cm11 issue I guess. Been on 1% for 20 mins now so probably just reading it wrong.

You could always clear cache/battery stats in twrp. Other than that I'd just run it down to 0 then back up to 100

According to your stats, you had a "screen-on"-time of about 3 hours. That should be the reason for that high battery drain. The display is always comsuming the most power. Just saying...

yeah I suppose. I just left phone last night to see how much battery was used. it used up 20% I had nothing in background and apps were closed via greenify. on 4.4.2 I only lost 5-10% during night sometimes less

[Q] [BatteryDrain] [XT1032] [Lollipop] Drain when phone inactive and in airplane mode

As you can see, all radios were off during the night and phone was inactive, yet somehow it was draining battery with constant speed.
It is stock GPE 4.4.4 OTA upgraded up to 5.1, no root or customizations. And the battery was performing pretty well on 5.1, phone would survive 2 days, and then this started. Wakelock detector does not show anything reasonable. No lots of wakelocks, no long time active applications, nothing suspicious (but it does not display kernel wakelocks). It says phone was in deep sleep 98% of the time, yet, it somehow has drained 30% of the battery. Rebooting, disabilng GPS did not help, it just keeps wasting energy with at least 2% per hour when it is idle.

Undead - No battery but works fine

Hi,
I replaced my Nexus's battery yesterday. Everything went well but trying to turn on my phone, it didn't lunch and but the led kept flashing in red. Reading here, I saw someone saying that it's a battery drain and to leave the phone charging for a couple of hours. Still nothing.
I tried to disconnect the battery from the board and start the phone and it worked. I then reconnected the battery (while the phone is lunching) and it's working but the battery percentage doesn't show and the red led is still flashing. See here (I know it small but look at the battery) -

.
I assume there's a problem with the board because I have two devices and I tried to switch the batteries between them and they work on the other device and red-led-flash on mine.
I'm using DU rom.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks!

Wrong Battery readings

Hello gurls,
I recently replace the baterry of my Sony Xperia Z3 nd the charge reading is wrong. to be clear, when charging it reach 100% in 5 minutes and depletes to 1% also in 5 minutes. I use AccuBattry to check battery capacity and show 3200ish (factory is 3100). After a full charge the phone last for days, or like 6 hours of continous video play. The thing is that after 4 minutes it goes to from 100% to 80%, then jumps for 30ish and in half hour it shows 1%. No matter what, the phone continue working and have a very good battery usage. But as we know I never know when Im about to power off.
do you know what cna be causing this issue? Does the battery comes with an integrated sensor for charge or the phone measures this? do i need to delete battery.bin file? What do you suggest?

Battery last charge incorrect

On latest Android 11 version and have noticed battery last charge is not being reset when i charge, e.g. mine shows last charge as 11 days ago even though detailed charge shows correctly as 1 day ago. Anyone else having this problem on latest Android 11 EU version ? before i report it.

Replying to my own question. It looks like 'last full charge' means exactly what it says, ie it has to charge to 100percent before the timer resets. If you never fully charge to 100percent the timer never resets. So if we do what we're told and charge only to, say 93percent, to preserve the battery, then this timer can, in theory, continue for a long time.
