Hi,
I visited the below site & found the Cyan update is available for my Nokia Lumia 820.
I currently have 'RM-825 VAR EURO1 GB CV' (059R096) '3051.40000.1347.1006' installed on my
unlocked phone by myself. How can I find the product code for the latest version below? I wish to
use the Nokia care suite software to download the GB CV ROM. My phone was originally bought as
sim free from Amazon with a French product code (059R0Z2) so I can not use the Nokia Software
recover tool as it insists on trying to put it back to the French version (059R0Z2) even though
I successfully installed (059R096).

Thanks for the reply, I for some reason thought the Product Code would change on a higher revision of software. Obviously not, I used your link to download the latest ROM.

Yes, i install Lumiatrix^7 V4.1 in my new Lumia 710 Model RM-809 and work, but now the ZUNE and other program recognized as Model MR-803. May be can make other version for MR-809 or anyone can help to seach one. This custom ROM have battery drain issue.

Hi,
RM-803 and RM-809, they both are variants of Lumia 710. As long as your phone is working, you need not worry.
RM-803 is the Global version where as the RM-809 possess carrier restriction. If you are using Custom ROM, your phone is full unlocked and you can enjoy all features of the phone (Yes, you'll not have carrier specific features for your phone.
JUst in case you want to go back to Factory OS, try using "Navifirm+" to download your desired version of OS and "Nokia Care Suite" to Flash it.
I've never tried this, but should work. If not, no changes will be made to your phone. It should still be in present condition.
I'm using unlocked Lumia 822 Verizon and cant send sms after portico update. Have anyway to flash 820 firmware on 822 ?

You might brick your phone putting on a different models firmware on it. I would say reflash your firmware again. Same thing happened with my friend and a simple reflashed fixed it. Which color do you have?

I have black version. I have reflashed via Nokia Software Updater for Retail but still unable to send SMS
I have the same problem. The only solution for this - flash back to 1532.2108.1244.0003 firmware. But now, when there is no free public access to nokia data servers, it is not easy to find it.
P.S. I'm searching for the 1532.2108.1244.0003 now, but have no results yet)
P.S.S If not using phone numbers in international format - there is no problem to send a message.

I have exactly the same question, but for the Lumia 810 from T-Mobile. It has the same hardware as Lumia 820, even LTE, but it's disabled via firmware by T-Mobile, so I don't know If it can be done. I mean... I had a Lumia 710 RM-809 and I could flash it to a RM-803 and there was no problem at all. :S

I'm very curious about this also, #T-Mobile really ****ed us on this one. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this topic.
Ok, I tried flashing the Lumia 820 firmware on the 810 I have and Nokia Care Suite displayed a message that basically said that tehre was a problem flashing the FFU file as the signature for the bootloader didn't match or something like that.
In that scenario, i think the only option we could have to flash would be with those custom boxes that some teams make.

hi i know, this is quite an old thread..been really looking for someone tried flashing lumia 810 with 820 firmware..may i ask what is the exact firmware of the lumia 820 you used? can you try it again.. specially now there are amber firmware available for 820.. thanks aalot..:angel:

Just got an old Lumia 820 as a replacement for my HTC HD7. My phone is sim free Nokia Philippines. Then upon check for updates, it always says I have the latest: 8.0.10211.204
Either this phone has a problem or we're just reaaaally late on updates. I checked on /ph-en website of nokia and it says they already have the black update for 820.

I dont think u can get any official updates from nokia. They must have blocked it for a reason. Google it. If u want u can download and update and flash it manually. But since i have never used a windows phone i really dont know anything about flashing them

I found out that my handset was a demo unit. So I won't be able to update my phone. it show "Not for Resale" on boot. Darn I'm outta luck. but uh, yes we can get updates here. On a Regular phone that is.

Yes sir, I bought it. used. Evertyhing else works perfectly. except that it has never been updated. and Can never be. well, for now.

You can flash 059R667.

You should already know how to download and patch Nokia Care Suite.
Else Google it.
Download 8.1 Cyan Firmware (Finland) version from here.

Flash it using Nokia Care Suite. Warning, All your data will be lost (Pictures, Music, Videos, Apps).
Search for updates from, Settings>Phone Update. It will start downloading a series of updates (pre denim update, then denim update. Each time the phone will restart)
Now you will be on Denim. Info will still show Cyan Version. You need to login with your live account and then download updates from Windows Store. After Update of "Extra + Info" app, it will start showing correct version.
Now Key in ##3282# in the dialer. You will be taken to Field Test Menu.
Accept the conditions. Touch the 3 dot menu button. Goto Settings>Network Type "3G only". Go on touching the back button till the app exits.

Context: Some non-trustworhty sites have stated that the latest version is 10.65 for my Nokia 2700. Right now my Nokia 2700 has 9.98, it has some issues and I want to try if 10.65 will fix that. Unlike to my Nokia Asha 210, there is a Microsoft/Nokia blogpost that confirms the existence of a new firmware version.
My questions:
1.) Do the Nokia 2700 has a real v10.65 update? or not?
2.) How do I flash that and what software and driver should I use?
My Wishes:
1.) Provide me the links or names + version of the connectivity driver, flashing software and firmware that I should use.
