[Q] XT1033 bricked (Unbrick Corrupted Bootloader question) - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, after reboot my XT1033 stopped working completely, cannot boot into fastboot, recovery or anything at all. When connected to pc the device is recognized as QHSUSB_BULK, so I figured this solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623587 would work, but I get the following error when using blank-flash. Can't post in the thread because I've just created this account.
Before reboot I was trying to install Widgetsoid app from play store, but it kept giving me some error (-25 I think) so I tried to reboot, after reboot the phone just died.

Held power button for a few sec before using blank-flash, got a different error now.

Bump.

Bump.

Welp, you can close the thread, just connected it to a charger and display came up with 0% battery and proceeded to charge. Now it boots up like nothing happened.

[Q] Motorola Defy Not Turning On

Hi Guys,
I have tried to install a CM mod on my Motorola Defy as illustrated here. The problem is that despite the phone had been rooted, I had some problems with ClockWorkMod and rebooted my phone in recovery mode using the application that ships with the phone. I did remove the Cache and Factory settings and ran the zip file.
The problem is that upon restart, the phone kept rebooting itself, that is, I kept seeing the Motorola logo for a couple of minutes, and then, the phone reboots and the process is repeated.
Now, out of the blue, the phone is not even turning on. What I have is a small white light that turns on whenever I connect the phone to a laptop via usb. Any idea on how I can get the phone working? At the moment I do not really care about what OS version, as long as it runs.
Thanks in advance
Edit: There seems to have been an issue with the battery, I have managed to load up the phone to recovery mode. Can anyone show me how can I install a fresh Operating System? I seem to only have access to the phone's boot up screen. Also, the laptop does not seem to be able to connect to the phone via usb.

[SOLVED] [Q] GT-P5113 Reboot Loop Plz Help

I ended up sending this to Samsung for repair. Luckily my tab was still under warranty. It took them 3 times to finally get it fixed correctly. First time they replaced the main board and the data link cable plug. When I got it back it lasted about an hour before it started doing the reboot loop again. So I sent it back and that time that did a software upgrade, but they obviously didn't even test it before sending it back cuz it only lasted 30 min. then it started with the reboot loop. Before I sent it back for the 3rd time I got in contact with a manager cuz I was so frustrated at this point. That time I sent the tablet directly to her to make sure it was fixed and tested before sending it back to me. I've had it for about 2 weeks now with no problems. They replaced the main board again. So either they gave me a faulty one the first time they "fixed" it or they didn't do anything to it.
So if your tab is stuck in the reboot loop and there's nothing you can do to make it stop, contact Samsung.
I bought this about 2 weeks ago and got to use it for about 5 days.
Woke up in the middle of the night cuz I kept hearing the start up sound to my tablet. So what it does is starts up then I get a prompt saying "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" I click ok and then another prompt that says "Unfortunately, Goole+ has stopped" with the choice of clicking "Report" of "Ok" then the screen freezes and it all starts again.
So I have about 3 - 5 seconds after it starts up and I've tried going in and doing a system restore but it crashes before I can do that. I have manged to go in and delete my google account but when it restarts my account is back.
So then I tried using the Odin3 program with every different file that I could find that would be compatible with my tab and it shows that it installs fine but nothing ever changes on the tab it self. I have tried using the Pit file and the stock rom, the stock rom alone, the pit file alone, twrp open recovery, clockwork open recovery, CF Auto Root, but no luck. I have tried having the auto reboot on and off and then rebooting it myself, still no change.
When I go into recovery mode it shows the android with a red triangle. and of course if I try to install anything from there it always does the signature fail. Which I'm guessing cuz it's not rooted. So at this point I am wondering is there a way to just completely wipe everything off and start completely over? I have wasted so much time on this POS I'm about to just throw it away. Any advice would be more greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Im a new member. Im have the same trouble also.
there is an endless restart cycle, and my tablet can last only for around 10 to 15 seconds power on then it will restart again and repeat the process until the battery die.
I can only power off if i connect to the power supply.
I already tried ODIN with several stock PDA files, root with CWM and philtouch, but nothing happens. Everything is passed but there is no change on the about devices after the reboot. Then it continue the endless restart again.
When i boot in original recovery, there is an error already. if i flash zip file root, there is an error in signature.
Please help me brothers and sisters.
Any luck figuring this problem out?

Fastboot not working!?!?

So I managed to install the adb drivers for my OPO and then used the OPO Toolkit to reboot into fastboot mode. But the phone just shows a black screen. I tried manually booting into fastboot but it doesnt work. Just shows a black screen, windows detects something but seems like it gets disconnected immediately. The cable is working fine, I checked that already.
I unplugged the cable and booted into fastboot manually and it works but as soon as I plug the cable back in, the phone just shuts down I think and returns to the black screen. I tried searching but couldnt find a solution. Any idea where I'm going wrong?
PS: Fixed the issue by rebooting the phone to recovery and wiping everything.
Mods, can you please delete this?
Problem solved. Thread closed.

Nexus 5 completely dead

Alright so my Nexus 5 was running perfectly on 6.0. Today I was going back home from school and I had like 2% battery. It showed the powering off window and shut down. I plugged it in the OG charger that came with it and booted it up and started using it. When it reached about 5% the phone froze and restarted. However upon reaching the Android logo it froze again and repeated the process. So I thought I should leave it for a while to charge and boot it later. Charged it fully, powered on, Android is optimizing apps showed up and froze again. Tried a completely wipe but then I got a "TZ crash Demigod Crash Handler" telling me to take a ram dump of the phone.
DEmiGod Crash Handler : HW Reset!
Press key to choose Dload Mode or Reboot.
1) Volume Up : Dload Mode.
2) Volume Down : Reboot.
If you choose Dload Mode,
Please do following action.
1) Dload Mode. Please connect USB.
2) Get the ram dump image using QPST Configuration.
Tried flashing 6.0 via fastboot hoping it would solve the problem, but to no avail. Now the phone won't boot into anything. Bootloader, recovery, nothing. It won't even show the battery logo when it's charging. I've had this phone for a year and a half, and I haven't damaged it in any way.
Is it possible that I could do something to remedy this, or is it the repair shop?
Thanks in advance

Try manually flashing a new kernel, seeing most of it relating to a bad boot/kernel image
PS what happens when u try dload mode?

jordirpz, you have no idea how much I am thankful, it's running again.
Cheers!
I have this problem. AFter fitting KDIFIX replacement back cover (replacing one that overheated when charging on an LG WCP-300 charging pad) the replacement cover caused a little heating, spontaneous reboot of the phone, THEN this "green screen of death."
Have reflashed all partitions but user data with M4B30Z ( was running an earlier one), no joy. Have disconnected the battery for a few hours in hopes that perhaps this will resolve, as the partitions were erased and flashed A-OK with SDK fastboot. :fingers-crossed:
UPDATE:
Nope, didn't do it. It won't boot to Recovery, won't get past the Google logo before restarting. Will boot into fastboot and stay there for hours. Oddly, plugging into power will cause it to boot, NOT show teh b/w battery image. I wonder if this aftermarket cover fried something in the charging circuit. Brand new replacement battery, too.

G7 Power possibly soft-bricked, can't access fast boot anymore

Recently had issues with my G7 Power and it seems to be soft-bricked. I was using an app and the app in question usually has the occasional stutter but then things resume to normal a second later. This is what happened yet this time the phone froze and was completely unresponsive. I held the power button down, turned it off and back on and it seemed fine but for whatever reason it got stuck on the Verizon loading screen which never happens. Turned it off and on again and it got stuck on the Moto animation so I held the power button down again. The phone shut off and refused to turn on again.
Eventually I ended up getting into fast boot (initially tried getting into fast boot many times with no success, no idea why it suddenly worked that time) and reset the phone through there and it would still get stuck on the Verizon loading screen. Kept turning the phone off and returning it to fast boot to repeat the process which was probably a stupid mistake on my part as the phone proceeded to shut off like expected but this time I couldn't get into fast boot anymore at all, even when keeping it on the charger that came with the phone.
LMSA was looking like the perfect solution but my PC isn't recognizing the phone as a drive so I don't think any sort of software made for instances like this are going to work unless there's something I'm doing wrong here. I can't get into the phone to enable USB debugging either.
Any recommendations as to what I should do? It's looking like sending it back to get it fixed is my only option here. Never had any issues with the phone until now.
Re-flash Stock ROM.
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot sideload
adb sideload <STOCK-ROM-ZIP>

My PC won't recognize the phone at all, would this still work? Would it also completely wipe the device's memory?
