Hello all, I'm from indonesia, currently i using advan s5k smartphone, a local smartphone brand. I'm a newbie in android.
Sorry if i ask this in a wrong forum. I want to ask whether anyone have succeed installing clockwork mod or cyanogen or flashing kernel in this phone, because i have a difficulties searching tutorial in indonesia website?
Currently i succeed in rooting this phone using framaroot. I am a bit scared when trying to install cwm can disturb my phone performance.
Can anyone please share experiences and give me a short tutorial?
I will be very grateful

Hi iam new to xda, with the help of my friend i came to know about this site .well iam using htc explorer and iam newly learning about how to root the mobile. I have rooted to cw9 rom and all i need to ask is about how to get back my stock rom ?? and i just need some more clarification regarding the slowness of using mobile internet speed after rooting to cw9 rom . It is taking much time for the video to buffer.regarding to that the performance of my mobile is excellent .

You can either flash a stock rom zip, like you did with CM9, or you can install an RUU..
The stock rom zips can be found in the Android development section..
And RUUs can be found in the General section..

Hi there, I have a Alcatel t'pop, ive backup the stock Rom via mtkdroid tool, and im now in kitchen trying to de odex and add ext support and few other things, I was just wondering if anyone would like to help us port a ics Rom or jb as theres loads similar phones with same spec, anyone willing to help, and if so please pm me or post here, and also if u would could u please request a Alcatel general forum at least if not per device forums, please and thanks, lets get this phone a rocking !!!!!

I using galaxy s4 GT-i9505 running stock kitkat 4.4.2 .i am on TWRP recovery..i m trying to flash android L on my phone.it is google play edition [unofficial] ....there are 2 files in the folder, 1. JFLTE-GPE-20150105.zip 2. JFLTE-GPE-20150105.zip.md5 .i know i have to get into recovery [TWRP] then i got no ideo what to do ...HOPE SOME ONE CAN HELP ME i am new so i want to learn this stuff...

Thx for the reply..one more thing, I have backed up nandroid...from my TWRP if somthing goes wrong while flashing or I dont like the new rom..is it posible to get back to stock touchwiz (wich I have backedup using twrp)with the restore functionality in twrp? Plz dont give me a link to reffer...d thx a lot for answer

It should restore. But if there's anything special to know.... That's why I suggested asking further questions on the help thread dedicated to your device in my last link.

I own a coolpad f2 (the similar version to the micromax yu yureka)
and I wanted to know how to root it, and how to install cwm recovery 6.0.5.1 and if there is any chance this device gets an official or unoffial cm 12 rom...
I know there is a site that claims to have a tutorial how to root it and how to install cmw, but it is in spanish, and I don't speak spanish... Any chance one of you guys could help me out?
O, and btw I'm not a total noob, I've rooted some devices and most of them are running cyanogen mod or miui, but I don't understand fastboot, android-toolbox and other stuffs, so plz., keep in mind that don't understand that... Yet...

there should be a intergrated security software, go inside and click setting then choose about,click on the "C" icon for 3 times with internet connection ,then it'll ask if you want do the root or not, after clicking yes, it'll download the root.zip from server and flash by itself.
