Whenever i play some audio through Google play music, it's really laggy, sometimes, it crashes my device and i have to reboot. This occurs across every rom I've tried (But not stock.)
Also having this problem.
Have you tried Spotify? I have no problems with it, its the only app that does not crash playing music (stream) for me.
Device: Moto G
ROM: cRDroid
VLC works too.

Hello xda community!
I have been having a persistant problem with youtube lately with playing videos.
Everytime i go to play one, it gives me this annoying message "Sorry this video cannot be played."
I have tried clearing and resetting my browser, but the problem still persists. The same problem with the youtube app.
If anyone would be kind enough to help me resolve this problem, i would greatly appreciate it!

Custom rom? Fire wall activated? Latest flash players not installed? I have had those issues before that prevented me from using youtube

why dont you just use your youtube app?
I'm experiencing the same problem with the Youtube app.
In addition to that, I can't play any video from my SD card, getting exactly the same error message: "Sorry, this video cannot be played."
I've tried removing the cache used by the Youtube app, which helped in the past to solve some problems, but can't find a solution.
I'm using CM7 for Motorola Milestone.
Hello, I recently bought a XOOM 2 Wi-Fi only 16GB 10.1 and updated it to ICS, then after updating the YouTube app the app doesn't even lauch it crashes and asks me if I want to send a report. Is this an known issue? And is there a way to fix it? I can use the app by unninstalling the update and using the version that came with the tablet but I like to have everything updated and the notifications annoy me.
Thanks,
António

Same problem here with my Xoom 2 Media Edition 3G, but it also occured with ICS. Since the last Youtube update, the app refuses to open.
Interestingly, when I click a Youtube link in the browser and choose to open it via Youtube app, it does play the video. Then, when I try to go to the Youtube main screen from there, it force closes again.
I am running the latest nightly CM rom dated 6-25-2014 with flashing the minimum Gapps (google play and sync ) from the Banks on XDA, the stocked browser and the 3rd youtube could not play video, it only show text and sound, I know the kitkat does not support adobe flash player now, does someone share the workaround how to play video without the Chrome. I mean chrome can work well on my device N7000.

Hi guys,
I'm experiecing some audio problem with my OPO in any android 5.0 ROM
During songs playing there is a sort of buzz with any player and any ROM.
Is this related to Android 5.0? Or there is a fix about it?
I've tried stock google player, poweramp, Viper4android... anything.
Thank you in advance :fingers-crossed:

Android L works flawless on my device. Try older version or wipe your device
I think this is a known issue with Android L. The weird thing is I still get this issue when flash back to 44S. As far as I know there is no fix for this and I hope this get resolved soon.

Same here. I have the static problem too. Also I am not able to transfer FLAC files to the phone.
It happens for me with whatever kernel on 5.0. And it also happens on KitKat when I'm on AK 77.

How are you listening (direct headphone / bluetooth)? I am using Euphoria ROM with bluetooth and it works well. There are some hiccups now and then, but it is fine most of the time. Also the EQ works with this ROM - while it did not on some of the others.
I have this issue with phone calls. When on Bluetooth or headphones, other person complain about the voice quality. Head phones are the worst. I don't know which headphones to use now. I have iPhone ones which works with all my Samsung/nexus phones but not this one. My Samsung earphones and Sony earphones also doesn't work with this phone. I am on euphoria ROM right now but had issues with every Lollipop ROM.

I'm also using this rom and I'm getting audio hiccups every now and then, which I had never experienced on this phone before. Really hoping it will disappear in an update soon.
