Hey guys, I need a good camera app for my new OPPO find 7. I flashed a custom rom based on cm I think, and then I flashed g apps. The android stock camera app by Google isn't good. Also, this phone supports 4k video recording which is not there in this camera app. So I need a camera app supporting 4k video recording as well. Please suggest me some apps. I can also go for paid apps from play store if its really nice. Thanks in advance guys

Can anyone help to get miui or iphone type camera for spica or other good android camera apps.

Actually the original GTR camera application allows to shot photo and record video from front cam. Just tap on top icon on the left side to set video recording mode
I don't know why you are looking for this app, but if it is for the looks of it you should try MIUI Music too. I find it so much better than our stock music player.
we have alot of apps like Camera Zoom FX and CameraMX and others which let us capturr better pics/edit them and enhance them.
but i REALLY need to know if there is some app which lets us edit/enhance a video on mobile??
not talking about any trimming video, but a proper app in which we can like "set the contrast" and improve the visual quality of a photo? thanks in advance!!!

You could try out LGCamera from the playstore..
I've not messed with it too much but seems to have some of the settings you may be looking for..
If you use it - you may need a fair bit of space on the storage as I saw one user has recorded a 58 second clip which came out at 518Mb..
Hey, so I've been using this nice app called Snap Camera. While it does everything I want it to and I like it better than stock or the other ones available in the play store, I have a strange bug with it. Of course this is not your problem , and I have reported it to the dev...but
He says he hasn't found anyone else using my device to try and track down the issue. So if anyone is so inclined with a p62xx and running stock JB I'd be grateful if you would you please give this app a try and record a 720p video and see if the preview screen freezes when you stop recording? (To get it to record in the proper mode for 720p on our tab you have to go in the settings, under Video, and set Video Preview Size to "Video (1280x720)".

Thanks for your help if you so choose
Hi there,
I want to know if there is an application that works like the iphone 5S slow motion function.
I love it, but I still want my nexus 5.
Thanks

Unless you had an android specifically with camera built in slow-motion to take the video, it is not possible unless you get a 3rd party app that can do that (don't know if one exists yet that will work). But you can try the app AndroVid to see if it works for you. Says you take the video using regular camera app and then this app will convert your video to slow-motion. No a direct in camera feature but may work for you.

The new Lollipop 5.0 API has opened up the camera function so that the speed of the camera can be discovered and then if it supports a faster frame rate (AKA slo-mo) then it can be used. There is a guy who is trying this with this beta(?) camera app: https://github.com/PkmX/lcamera
Please try it as the guy has done some work with the 5 and 6. I would like to know if it works. I tried it on a nexus 10 and the app crashed/wouldn't open. But then again I doubt the camera on a nexus 10 supports fast frame rates.
I'm a little confused as to what's supposed to happen with this dng camera format. Like is google gonna update there camera app in the play store so it supports dng and the extra features? Or will we have to use this L camera thing I'm using from github? Or does google own l camera and it's still in testing? Like what exactly is supposed to happen here, someone just clarify this please.

Yea I have the same question , it's good that you asked this. I think camera app will be available in a few weeks because they need to optimize it ... It's just a guess but the thing I didn't like in that GitHub camera is that I can't view picture after I took it, I need to manually go to gallery app ... also 4K is available only in 4:3
