[Tutorial] Change the Network Provider name in the Lockscreen

Hi,
Make a new file in windows with the name spn-conf.xml
open the file and add a following.
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<spnOverrides>
<spnOverride numeric="40480" spn="BSNL MOBILE"/>
</spnOverrides>
In place of BSNL MOBILE you must write your own word. You can type anything but not more than 16 Characters.
Now save the file. Delete the old spn-conf.xml file from /system/etc and copy new spn-conf.xml file to system/etc.Reboot Your phone.After the reboot it show the old carrier but after 20 - 30 sec it shows the new name on the lockscreen.
spnOverride numeric="40480" is Mobile Network Code (MNC)+Mobile Country Code (MCC) code. Get codes for your operator and country from here.
Add actual code in spnOverride numeric and any name you want in spn.

Hi am on stock jpm n I dont see any spn-conf.xml file in /system/etc.....

It's already posted by someone else but it had a long and different method

set override to 40493 according to my provider

Just edited the inbuilt spn-conf.xml and it worked......

Yes , u can create, but remember the file name and extension.

right, do i leave the spnOverride numeric as 40480?
or change it to suit my provider and country?
ive tried leving it as 40480 and theres no change on the name!

Change the numeric to suit your country and provider...reboot

Not working for me, using Z4experience, M2 aqua locked bootloader, just shows SONY & then android, nothing else! Have installed to right place as it asked to overwrite, will try the other way mentione but don't think it'll make much difference!

after upgrading to Android M I have deleted my IMEI have no cell signal or I appear options for GSM networks, using the code to check the IMEI appears the image someone could help me share the following compressed files to see what is missing or where IMEIs within the cell are saved, thanks to now:

I see those files in /mnvm2:0/SC/Pers ... the IMEI is saves here., but my phone don't have... any help with these files ... thanks...

Well.... I repair the IMEI and FIX my problem with a HCU Client tool, all problems disappeared

HCU Client Tool is a paid tool... you loose the IMEI files ?

Oneplus Launcher (old version, beta 12, h2os) with Simplified mode.

Hey guys!
As I've written in the title, I really like the simplified mode, and unfortunately Oneplus removed this feature on the last build! why Oneplus!??
I've ported this from ob12 and it worked well for me.
If you would like to use it, put this on system/app/OPLauncher.
1. Copy the folder OPLauncher on the zip and paste in system/app.
2. Now, you need to change the file permissions like the screenshoot.
3. Rename the folder and the file from "OPLauncher_aosp" to "OPLauncher_aosp_old". If will not perform this, something may be wrong.
4. Install the apk as well to confirm and reboot the phone.
5. Enjoy your old OP launcher! [emoji4]
I'll thankful if someone make a flashable zip!

Here I am currently on OxygenOs Oréo and I have for a long time on Nougat used the August 2017 Launcher Oneplus which to the square foders.

But since the upgrade to Oréo I can not use this launcher that I had saved with Titanium Backup and during the restoration it works but impossible to go in the settings "crash" every time same as clean storage and cache.
I tell myself with your method by recovering the Apk launcher it would be possible to install my old Launcher Oneplus ?
On the other hand a detail that I do not understand to rename "OPLauncher_aosp" in Root / System / App there is the Foder & File "OPLauncher" but not Aosp ? Then with your method you have to create a new folder or place the Old OPLauncher.apk in the already existing OPLauncher folder?
Another detail since Oréo he changed name to OPLauncher2 but I think the method remains the same just add the "2"?
If I understand your method You put the "Old OPLauncher" in the folder Root/System/OPlauncher and change permissions and the rename it to OPLauncher_old.apk & OPLauncher_old for the folder too ?

Hello everyone!
I made a script here to package the current system into a firmware that will be recognized and run by twrp or orangefox.
What is build_now_system?
It can help you package the currently running system into a zip archive that can be recovered and executed by a third party.
It saves you the step of image conversion and reduces the burden of finding tools, it's already built in.
It can automatically generate the flashing scripts required by each image
Although it is not flashing according to the standard, it also has its own unique set of flashing specifications.
You don't have to care how it works, You just need to provide error logs and problems.
Its running log is stored in /sdcard/build_now_system.log by default, it will not be cleared unless you delete it manually
What conditions are required to run it?
Just need your device to be rooted.
But ideally you also need to meet the following:
1. Have root privileges
2. Has a third-party recovery mode
3. Sufficient space (about 30GB)
4. Have at least 30% power
