Does anyone know if I can root the trio g4 7 mst-741 using the same process as with the trio 9.7? I've been trying to root this device since yesterday and I simply can't find information for my particular model. I know it may be old but I would appreciate it if someone could help me so I can get on with this. Thanks!

Towelroot doesn't work. Error is "This phone isn't currently supported".
Tried Framaroot, error is it failed.
Z4ROOT hangs, and no root.
Gave up after that.
I agree. Baidu root also hangs and has no root. I checked poot to rootcheck and it says system xbin Su is installed. Now what?

been searching for a few hours with no prevail. it seems that i can't find anything to root my trio stealth g4 7. be nice because it's a little low end on memory and i'd like to get out some bloat wear. be looking forward to a resolve.
My trio is with a friend and since my other tablet (digiland) is rooted with kingroot i hope kingroot may be the solution

used kingo root.install on pc and connect with usb cable.worked on 2 of mine.

Heres the kingo root installer.i just converted supersu as a system app today!! Yay for rom toolbox pro!!!for the price,the trio tablets are not bad at all.

Hello I have been searching the web for anyone who has actually rooted the hp7 (white) slate model 1800 android 4.1.3? I've tried all the generic methods even other slate models, shaum, Cydia, adb etc. I'm fairly knowledgable with rooting and rooted a couple phones. I was given the tablet for xmas but didn't update when prompted, adb drivers was an easy task though Cydia wasn't working with shaum or whatever it's called from china. Please help anyone with good advice on my tablet. Thank you!

Hey, it's not true. SuperOneClick 1.7 with RageAgainstTheCage is a program to root L3.
Oh, but CWM must be installed in other way. Download ROM Manager from Google Play and You will know what to do next, because it's easy to do.

I just bought my new device from Samsung , And its called Galaxy V , seem this is a new device just came out , I would be happy to know if someone can find a root method for this device . I have been tried after 90% of root method from a different software also with apk root like Framaroot , TowelRoot and guess what , not working to exploid this device.
Well , As everyone knows that Android is useless without ROOT PERMISSION , i hope that the great developers can find a root method , Please

If You wanna to Root Galaxy V, You shoud installl Custom Kernel first...., then activate Usb Debugging, after that, root with Vroot on PC(Recomended.).. after that, if you dont like chinese Vroot SuperUser, You can change the vroot Superuser with Supersu as seen on Google... Maybe this solution can be hep you...

Are you have install the driver for Samsung?
Step 1 : Use original USB cable
Step 2 : Install Samsung USB Driver and restart your PC
Step 3 : Use different usb port and it will works
i tried. but i don't understand. most of it are in chinese
The easiest way to root this phone is install TWRP recovery and flash superuser or SuperSU recovery zip, no custom firmware or kernel is required
Edit: Install TWRP through ODIN, flashable zip doesn't work on stock recovery

So I have a problem with my device, I rooted a lot of phones before but I just can't root this one, tried faramroot, towelroot, rootgenius, kingoroot, oneclickroot, mobogenius.....I just can't root it, it says it's "too sold" so, are there any tools I've missed?

I tried too, but all instructions say to use the tools i already tried, so what else could i try, it's running kitkat 4.4.2, mby root by using update.zip, 'cause i can accses the chinise recovery, but there is no option to install from zip, just update.zip
