What I used :
Namles ROM 4.4.4
(camera upside down&mirrored, no bluetooth, no WLAN. Else it works great already !)

L-Keyboard apk :

Google Play Services and Wallpapers :
(800x480 single screen or 800x960 resolution for multiscreen)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2796019
The app "SoftKeyZ Root" from the playstore (1,99 €):

The app "Icon Changer free":
to make the icons fit your needs
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger.ad&hl=de
And a selection of flat-icons that I collected via google over many weeks.
1.) Flash nameless ROM via CWM (thanks to nameless, troopii, bernie and everyone involved)
Then edit file "build.prop" in folder "/system"
Add the following : ro.bq.gpu_to_cpu_unsupported=1
This will fix the rotation glitches.
thanks to troopii!
2.) Settings -> Crazy Lab -> Send Error Reports (uncheck)
3.) Settings -> Lock screen -> Lockscreen notifications -> Pocket mode (uncheck it = fixes steady red light on proximity sensor)
If you want a neat "Pocket Mode" app, that will make the LEDs flash on missed calls and sms, feel free to try out :
O3DLEDs1.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216824
Not many options, but it works
or
Gravity Screen - On/Off
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexnor.gravityscreenofffree&hl=de
Tons of settings and options ! Like turn on display with a gesture in front of the proximity sensor or turn it on while pulling it out of your pocket.
Both apps will use the LEDs of the touch keys, that we will disable on step 7.).
They will flash anyaway on missed calls !
4.) Flash play services
5.) Flash "L" keyboard
6.) Settings -> Language -> check google keyboard only
Go to its settings symbol on the right, tap it and scroll down to "advanced settings" -> Colour scheme -> Material
7.) Go to Settings -> Navigation Bar -> Check Force Navigation & Check Disable hardware Keys
8.) Install "SoftKeyZ Root" (make a backup of your old symbols with this tool if needed)
9.) Choose from one of the many "L" symbol presets (yes, there is also the original developer preview images)
10.) Enjoy and place icons as needed using google and "Icon Changer free".

Google actually has a
few other themes built-in. You just need
to uncover them with this trick.
You'll need a custom launcher that can
access Android Activities for this to
work, like Apex or Nova—which we
highly recommend downloading
anyway , since they're awesome. Once
you've got one installed, just follow these
steps:
1# Long-press on the home screen and
head to Shortcuts > Activities from
the menu that pops up.
2# Choose "Google Keyboard" (or
"Android Keyboard (AOSP)"
depending on your device and
Android version), and head to
"Android Keyboard Debug
Settings." This will create a
shortcut on your home screen.
3# Tap that new shortcut and you'll
get some advanced settings for
your stock keyboard. Choose
"Keyboard Theme" to pick a new
theme for your keybaord.
You can choose from Basic (which is the
pre-Gingerbread theme), Stone,
Gingerbread, and IceCreamSandwich
(the default on ICS and higher), with a
few variations. Pick which one you like,
and enjoy!

FAQ
Why I cannot uninstall Sidebar Launcher?
The "Lock screen" feature requires activating device administrator, you have to deactivate it in security settings before installing.
There are two ways to uninstall it:
1. Open Sidebar Launcher, go to settings page, find the "Uninstall" option. (Recommend)
2. First, go to "System settings" -> "Security settings" -> "Device administrators" deactivate "Sidebar Launcher", then uninstall Sidebar Launcher in a normal way.

Shake Flashlight App! lets you configure shake for torch, background mode, use screen light or LED and more.
There are millions on flashlight apps out there, none had the customization options I wanted and often required root or included spyware. So I made my own... :good:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When you first open the app a dialog will allow you to set recommended settings. The recommended settings activate the following options: Start flashlight when app launches, Vibration feedback, Shake for torch and Run in background (so shake for torch can be used at any time - even with the screen off).
By tapping the settings button you can change any settings such as using the screen as the flashlight instead of the LED, you can also choose to have the screen remain on when the app is open.
This app only needs the camera permission (to use the camera's LED).
You can customize the shake strength. On my Nexus 5x and Galaxy S8 for an easy to activate nightlight I use Shake strength 30-40, otherwise about 70 is better for preventing accidental shakes - A karate chop gesture should do the trick
It's now in version 1.1, I've added more features such as an automatic off timer option where you can configure a timeout.
I've tried to keep the app easy to use with a clean appearance whilst still having plenty of customization options. Any suggestions for any features people would like to see added would be great....The only additional tweaks I can think of at the moment are customizable backgrounds within the app and configurable vibration strengths... but this would probably be overkill for a lightweight torch app!
Download:
I've attached the latest APK (it's around 1.5MB), it's also on the Play Store too
* Edit 24/04/2019 - Updated APK (to allow the app to work on newer versions of Android). Background and screen off responsiveness varies by device. Definitely recommend you disable battery optimisations for the app for better reliability.

}
Description:
There are 5 widgets in the application, there is no application interface itself.
2 widgets - transparent widgets, for locking the screen by double-clicking and single-clicking, respectively. (arbitrary size).
3 widgets - widgets in the form of a lock of different colors, for locking the screen by pressing. (1x1).
Tap on the application icon also blocks the screen, this was done for the general style under "Thematic icons", android 13 (Pixel)
Instruction:
1. Install the application.
2. Open system settings /Accessibility/DoubleTapWidget
warning will be issued,
press "OK".
3. Open system settings / applications / find in the list DoubleTapWidget / Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner - "Allow settings changes", will ask for a password.
4. Again we go to point 2, but now you can activate the toggle switch
5. Go to the home screen, open the list of widgets, and select the desired widget.
Advantages:
1. The application does not consume battery as it uses a simple widget.
2. Without Root
3. Without any advertising.

Version: 1.2:
It skips the screen off animation. Is it possible to add it back? Maybe power off with root to achieve this?
I use this widget "Screen off - Widget & tile".

What's the reason for this app if we already have Double to Sleep on stock?

We don't have double tap to sleep on stock.
I always use double tap to sleep features that come with Nova Launcher. Great works, regardless

As mentioned yes unfortunately there is no double tap to sleep on stock unless you use a custom launcher.

You mean on Nova?
Is granting accessibility access to an app a safety concern?
