[Q] Help with Link2SD Xperia Play 2.3.4

Sup all, ive seriously searched the whole link2sd thread and have not found any answers for my question so here it is............
After switching from an iPhone, i have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play R800i on 2.3.4. Ive rooted it with the zergrush exploit and have been trying to get link2sd to work on my 16gb class 10 micro sd card. When I resize the partition using minitool partition manager, which is says on the official thread, it goes without errors, but i cannot create a partition on the 1gb of unallocated space. I know the micro sd card works because it works fine on my psp 2000 (cfw 5.00 m33) Ill attach a picture of my error. It says i need to delete all partitions to create multiple partitions

Lenovo P780 Rooting & Link2sd

just want to share, I have found the fastest and I think best way of rooting Lenovo P780 pls check this Link http://www.android-root.com/index.htm, Now I can use Link2sd - but you have to partition first your SD Card using Minitool Partition Wizard, You have to make 2 partition - all Primary - FAT32 if you have 4GB SD card or Higher.
I think that the partition where do you want to move the apps in with link2sd would be better formatted in ext4 if the kernel supports it, on my xperia arc I found it slightly faster than fat32 with link2sd.

[Q] sd partition problem.

hi every one..
i have a problem with my samsung 32g class 10 sd card , i wanted to make a second partition using mini tool, i chose ext2 as a second partition and when i opened link2sd app it asked me to chose the file system of the second partition , again i chose ext2 , it asked me to reboot the device. i rebooted it and when i opened link2sd the same message that asked me to chose the file system of the second partition appeared again and when i chose ext2 this message appeared: "mount script cannot be created. mount invalid argument"
i returned to mini tool and tried both ext3 ext4 with no success. and when i tried fat32 as a second partition it created but when i try to link any app on link2sd it fails to link it.
plz can any one tell me what should I do.
thanks in advance.

[Completed] [Q] Modify Link2sd script to mount on third partition

Good evening XDA developers
I'm sorry if I am double posting or reposting same/related topic again but I swear I've searched the forum for week now but I cannot find the answer so I've decided to post a new thread to seek for a good help.
Here's the situation for you to completely understand my need,
I've got this Sony Xperia Ray (2011) - received from my brother because he bought a sony xperia Z3.
I've modified it and install Xperia Overlay rom on it. But as we all know, Xperia Ray had a very few internal memory. I've tried to install int2ext script on it and successfully got 1 gig internal device, but upon installation of apps from the playstore. I still got "insufficient storage" error though the phone still got a 500 mb free.
Now here's what I think will work, I think maybe I can use link2sd together with int2ext. but I cannot try because I'm not good at scripting.
I got this 32 gb microsd (class 10), I partitioned it this way:
1st: fat32 - 23gb - use as external sdcard
2nd: ext2 - 1gb - use for int2ext script
3rd: ext4 - 8gb - plan to use for link2sd
Problem is I cannot mount link2sd on the third partition, could you show me how to modify 11link2sd file to force it to mount the script on the third partition?
Thank you so much..
Hi there,
You can ask for help directly in the Link2SD official thread here:

Good luck

Link2SD is showing "mount: Operation not permitted"

Hello,
I have rooted my Sony Xperia M2 Dual (D2302) using KingRoot and it currently has Sony stock firmware (android 5.1.1, build: 18.6.A.0.182) with locked bootloader. I have checked the root availability using Rootchecker app from play store. To link the apps to micro SD card Link2SD app has been installed from play store. A 16 GB class 10 micro SD card has been used to provide the second partition. The partitions I have tried (using Minitool) are-
8 GB FAT32 + 6.8 GB EXT2
8 GB FAT32 + 6.8 GB EXT4
8 GB FAT32 + 6.8 GB FAT32
In each and every case when Link2SD is launched, selecting ext2/ext4/fat32 shows "Mount script cannot be created. mount: Operation not permitted" error. I have rebooted the phone several times, checked root permission again and also tried to "su" from terminal and there were no error. In the Link2SD storage info the second partition is shown as "not mounted" partition. Why this error is being occurred? What should be the solution to this problem? Is it possible to solve the problem by running custom mount script?
Thanks in advance.

After rooting with Kingroot, download and install SuperSuMe, and run it. This will Install SuperSU on your Device and will eventually fix your Problem.
