Special note for the Edison users,
You guys notice the official tag? that's right...PAC's official for us. But these are basket builds (builds automated by the pac server)
hence this rom is not built by me. And it's only nightlies for now. I plan to build pac as soon as i get my new hdd.
Another thing is that..PAC was made official ever since our one and only Ravi Kiran started building PAC.
I didn't want to let this awesome project not go un-noticed by the the edison users....enjoy the nightlies!

You need to replace updater script before flashing. Op attached. And btw, build 25th august got baseband issue. Our maintainer might got his hands full. Let's wait for a lil while before new nightly is rolled out again.
I had replaced updater script with mine from cm11 and I tried the one on here. None worked. Not sure y updater script isn't correct in ROM itself. Y not fix it and then zip the ROM and post it for download

That's really weird even after replacing updater script. What's error code displayed upon cancellation?
It doesn't say. Bmm always says installation aborted whenever a ROM can't install. Never give a status number

I think you've got corrupted zip. Or your system space is too small.

First time trying a PAC_ROM.some really good features and really quite slim.I do like the pitch black theme...works well with team blackout apps and BaNks gapps.cheers
Speed hack
3g speed hack works great after a few reboots. Initially I thought it didn't work but I've automated phone to reboot every morning at same time (to zipalign apps and clear cache) and can now notice the difference, obviously dependant in which area I'm in, thanks

They should start rolling out again soon. We are having a few problems right now but they all should be fixed soon.

I had to create the thread to be "compliant" with PAC Team rules.

Will the wallpaper size limitation issue be fixed as well? I've noticed the problem in this and the OmniROM, so I'm not sure if it's systemic.
BTW, I tried PAC ROM as my first ROM attempt, and I' m loving it. I tried Omni afterwards, but response seems much better on this. However, Omni broke root and trying the original method of restoring root resulted in a bootloop. Not sure what to do at this point to restore it, still looking into things. Thanks!

About the wallpaper, will look at it, there was a special hack for A700 in CyanogenMod (because of problems with 1080p screen)

Also have noticed that the EZ Cast dongle I have no longer casts video as on the stock ROM; also when plugged into the HDMI the subtitles do not display properly (via MX Player). Not sure if it's worth a bug report, still working on configurations from my end.

Hum, I get a boot loop on RC3... Can roll back though. Anyone else have this problem?
EDIT - re-downloaded the RC, seems to work okay now - but it could also be that the boot time seems much longer than RC-2. Will start testing once the tab's recharged, this was a long day of fiddling with the thing.

The GApps you are referring to did not work for me. I'm using a 4.4.4 mini gapps (since our tablet can't even use many of the other Gapps w/o mobile data). Here's a link:

I finally got the time to flash the ROM but then I see the download of dev-host takes 2 hours...
I got a 100 mb/s connection and I'm only getting like 30 kB/s... Can you please use an other mirror then dev-host?
EDIT: Download stopped at 23 MB because the speed is terrible...

Why are all the init.d scripts default enabled when you flash the ROM and why can't I disabled or enable them in system settings? The sqlite tweak was really slowing down my system and corrupting my whatsapp database so I needed to remove it with Root Browser from the init.d folder.
EDIT: Also Google+ force closed after a reboot and also force closes if I open the app and this still happens after reboot.

EDIT: Also Google+ force closed after a reboot and also force closes if I open the app and this still happens after reboot.

I first got this problem when I came from RC2 to RC3 from luk.
At that moment the problem came and the scripts are there again when I reflash the rom or upgrade.
EDIT: Also Google+ FC is still randomly popping up and still can't open the app.

Edit: It's not theme related. I tried another one (Dark Cartoon for instance) and I ended up bootlooping -_-
Edit2: It happens if i try to change style and status bar
I tried it as I loved the old PAC roms on my S4. But currently this is virtually identical to Temasek's CM 12 and is missing a lot of the old options that made PAC so good, although understandably as they're no doubt not converted to LP yet. Will check back later.
