[Completed] Sero 7 pro w/ 4.4.2+ & working chromecast w/audio - XDA Assist

Is there any working version of android 4.4.2+ rom for Sero 7 pro w/ working chromecast w/audio and HMDI w audio. I have seen good quality rom's via forum search but none seem to have the hdmi and chrome/mira-cast working with audio.
I thank you in advance.

Hi,
Although there isn't a device specific forum for you I did find a lot of ROMs for you to choose from across xda
If you type this into Google
sero 7 pro site:forum.xda-developers.com
You will see a bunch of options, I would ask the developers of those ROMs if they meet your requirements
Best of luck!

Maybe its the sero 7 I got then, mine is a bit on the laggy side. Lags when scrolling and opening some apps. Hmm
Great videos! Very informative!

You mean the dual core version? Check your model number in "Settings">"About tablet", the Tegra 3 quad-core model is M470BSA

[Completed] Is there even any working Mirrorlink apps/Devices ? General Mirrorlink thread

I've recently purchased a car with Mirrorlink installed and it honestly doesn't seem to work with any apps/devices.
I've spent countless hours looking online and everyone else has came to the same conclusion that it essentially does not function as it's supposed to.
So far I believe three or four devices work with it, The drivelink app on android has been decommissioned with no more support and third party applications work to no avail either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Car is a 2015 Toyota Aygo and I'm rocking a 4.4.2 Galaxy S4 (Rooted GPE)
Hi there,
There nothing too much about that for S4 device except this thread: [APP REQUEST] Port NOTE4 or HTC ONE M8 MirrorLink for SGS4
You can register an account on XDA and ask directly in that thread or ask in this one for questions: [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S4 | Ask any question | Noob friendly.

[Completed] [Q] AppRadio Unchained Reloaded with Galaxy S4

hi all, can someone please help out there that might help me deal with my situation.
I have a Pionner AVH-4100 NEX and am trying to get the AppRadio working between my Samsung S4 (Virgin Mobile CA SGH-I337M) running Version 5.0.1
I have rooted the phone and downloaded ARUR from Google Playstore and briefly tried it out but nothing was working any differently (as in not at all) than the then stock Pioneer Appradio, so i de-installed it.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, not following the right steps or missing a piece. But I would thought that something would have changed on the HU with ARUR.
Connection settings are Other, HDMI. I am connected with HDMI cable to Samsung HDMI Adapter (et-h10fauwesta).
I am in need of some ideas or steps I may have overlooked.
thanks

Samsung Pro Audio port

Hi everyone, I'm learning more about Android, I'm a musician too, and want to use (in future) Amplitube in my Moto G 2014.
Thinking on professional music apps, Samsung created Samsung Pro Audio, which delivers very low audio latency.
My questions is: Can it be ported to another non-Samsung device? If not, is there a possibility to do it in future, if a developer who know much about android try?
Sorry if it's a too noob question, but I didn't find an answer anywhere in my searches
Much like almost anything Samsung, I doubt the source code for the Pro Audio support is available. Furthermore, given the low-end hardware in the Moto G, I doubt you'd get anywhere near the same experience even if a developer found a way.

Tablets that support USB Host Mode

Was not really sure where the best place to post this was, so hopefully, here will work. I currently have a Nexus 7 2012 in my car, it has been installed for around 5 years now and as to be expected, considering the operating environment, it is starting to slow down. While trying to find a replacement for it, I am having difficulty finding out what tablets out there currently support USB Host Mode. For example, I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) that does not support it without purchasing a $40 adapter from Lavalink (which from the reviews is overpriced and not guaranteed to work).
I had found a few posts referencing this site... http://usbhost.chainfire.eu/ but it does not work anymore.
Before buying a new tablet I want to be sure that USB Host Mode will work, does anyone know of any 8-10" tablets that do support USB Host Mode? either by default or with a 3rd party ROM? I have been looking at the Lenovo Tab 3 8.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (SM-T350) and Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 (T560) specifically. No real reason other than the fact they are newer than my Nexus 7 and can be picked up for a reasonable price.
Thanks.
