Do you know if there is a way to get the firmware off the phone via ODIN or Heimdall? If you tell me how, I could grab the firmware off my phone for you

basically I am searching for the stock Firmware for the 220.27.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB running Android 5.0.2 with the Build-Number LXB22.46-28.1
It would be really nice if anybody could guide me in the correct direction.

Well I have a modded 920F ROM from the dev forum on my 920I but it's not the same.
Pretty sure the bootloader won't work.

Get SamFirm first:

Then use SamFirm to download G920R7 stock firmware.

I have a TWRP backup if you or anyone else needs it. The rom is not on sammobile.

What a coincidence I ran across this thread. I literally just battled with this. It's ridiculously hard to find a c-spire rom for android phones. Anyway, you need to do like @sinopapa recommended and download SamFirm. Put in your device model (SM-G920R7 for S6, SM-G925R7 for S6 Edge) and for region put ACG and click the auto checkbox. You will then be able to download the latest rom directly from samsung. Just decrypt using the decrypt button and install via odin.

I don't think you can still check sadly...
Maybe the boot.img doesn't change through the firmwares but i'm not sure about this...
I would suggest you to do a rollback to get to the stock firmware
But wait, maybe a more competent person will have a better solution for you.
By curiosity were on Android 6.0 or 7.0?

It was emui 5.0 and Android 7.0, so yes.
I have the date of manufacture on the box, could that help finding the firmware?

Sadly, I expected it a bit...
What you need to do is to find the latest firmware for your phone (supposingly your phone was up to date) and then extract the boot.img with HuaweiUpdateExtractor.
Otherwise you need to do a rollback and get back to stock firmware...
Also you can wait for someone with better acknowledge than me to help you.

This is an old post, but just curious about the firmwares for frd-l14 at romfirmware.com. Is it a trustworthy site? Seems a little sketchy. Wanted to make sure before I download anything.
