I have recently unlocked bootloader of my phone and corrupted the stock rom of my Live With Walkman (WT19a) and found this FTF in 4shared site.
how can i make sure that this is a good FTF rom? I am new to this so i dont know how to check that someone had edited the generic rom and put it in the public.

I found links to FTF ROMs for your device in the [ROM] Official Live_With_Walkman WT19i_4.1.B.0.587_Generic.ftf (Stock) thread, and in the [ICS] Generic WT19i/WT19a 4.1.B.0.431 FTF thread.
Those users/posts/links seem to be reliable IMO.
To check if a ROM file was changed, you need the original file too ... and then compare the md5sum of both files, if they are exactly the same.
If you have further issues or questions, please better ask in the Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, Active, Ray, Live with Walkman Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin forum.

hello guys ! I followed some guide and made everything exactly as told, I had recently update to 4.0.4 and now when I did the unlock bootloader, Installing CWM and Rooting for 6.0.B.1.564 firmware and when comming to tutorial number 3 called "Official Firmwares flash by Flashtool" , I downloaded it and there was 2 files which was impossible to drag to the flashtool screen So I skipped it. I found something else on the forum called prerooted system and I flashed it over and now I am back to 2.3.7, did I manage to do something? If you would help me I could pay you for helping me! btw, I am new on this fields, so yeah I am n00b on this :<

But anyways here are the links

First of all I hope this is the correct section for this problem.
I looked everywhere, on xda, on other forums, and no luck, so I decided to ask my questions directly.
Well, it's like this. I have a XPERIA Z3 which is branded with T-Mobile. It has T-Mobile applications/bloatware, and T-Mobile logo on boot. My question is, can I remove the applications, and the boot logo without rooting?
Or can I download an unbranded stock ROM (or firmware, not sure if it's the same thing) for Z3, and that way remove the T-Mobile logo and applcations? Will that work?
If someone knows, please tell me where to download the stock ROM/firmware.
I hope you understand where I'm going.

Just flash another FTF. Head over to the Z3 general section to see any of the threads on flashing FTF files.
You need flashtool (Download it from flashtool.net) then you can download a FTF and flash it.

I flashed the Nordic Firmware and it works like a charm. This topic may be deleted or locked.

Does anyone know any sources for sony FTF files for the F8331? I have tried to download the files with xperifirm and make an FTF with flashtool but this doesn't work for me and I'm stuck with a paperweight of a phone till I can get an FTF for the device, if anyone can help me out here that'd be brilliant, many thanks for taking the time to read this.
