Hey guys. This is my second application that is being launched on the Play Store.
Play
Play uses a variety of sources to search for songs and then presents you, as a user, with all the various links to the song streams. These links can be saved for later so you can stream the best versions of a song that you find and create a makeshift library. The application uses google to search for album art and is completely headless; nothing is stored on the device except for links to the various songs. Check out the video Here to get a brief overview of how the app works. The application is DMCA compliant as all the feeder sites actively take down any links which receive a DMCA complaint.
Play is also open source. Here is the repo should you want to contribute to the project:
I am looking for beta testers who would like to help me diagnose whatever issues are present in the application. If you would like to become a tester, please visit the Google + community, join and click the link to become a tester. Within the application there is a link to take you to Google+ in the sidemenu.
**The application requires android 4.0+
**Please note that some links do not function on Android L.

OK so here's the issue. Play is not discoverable on the play store because of all the google branded apps occupying the top results. Does anyone have a suggestion for a new name that will help make the app name more unique and easier to search for?

Thanks I took some of those ideas and some of my own and made a poll that is now live on the thread!
Coming soon.
Next up on the update list is adding more information to the song results. i.e. artist name, album image, song length, album info.
Anybody know any good providers which can provide this information.

I have recently developed my first android app based on Lollipop's Material Design and I would to share it with you guys as well. It's a free app and would remain the same till the end.
This app uses a fast dedicated server to shorten the URL @ vinu.info and is in no way uses the public shortening services by Google, *******, etc. like other apps on the Play Store.
This means that none of your personal data or anything of that sort will be stored, shared or recorded by this app or the server.

Some suggestions if you want to follow the design guidelines: your app shouldn't have an exit button. Also, the overflow button should be to the right (or are you using it as a navigation drawer icon? If so, it's confusing and different from every other app out there -- please use the default icon instead). Other than that, the icons in the nav drawer shouldn't be colored, it looks odds (look at how Google apps do it, for example). Finally, the nav drawer should come over the action bar, as seen in Google Newsstand. The Play Store does this wrong.

This is the first time I'm posting this on DevDB, looks awesomeee!
This project was mainly inspired by the way WeChat and the new WhatsApp scan to login (into the browser web app) feature.
I had this idea to re-purpose the same method into sharing hyperlink to the browsers. I know that there're tonnes of other ways to achieve the same thing, but I'm here to challenge quickest way.
This idea had actually just spawned randomly less than 30 hours ago, and I'm proud to announce that, I have COMPLETED IT (With proper UI as well!)
How to use:
The instructions are written in both the Android app and the website ( http://caast.me ) as well
Go to http://caast.me on your desktop browser (preferably Google Chrome or Firefox)
From any Android apps (which has a Share function), click the Share
Select "CaastMe" in the "Share Via" popup as the sharing medium.
A barcode scanning screen will appear. Scan the QRCode on the website which you just opened on the desktop browser.
MAGIC!
Features:
No addional installation on desktop
No authentication/login in any form
Can be used throughout many apps, such as Chrome, Youtube App, Reddit reader. (As long as there's a Share function)

This is neat -- it's not working on one of my devices, though. It starts fine, but as soon as the QR code stars coming into focus, CaastMe freezes and the following error keeps appearing in the logcat:

That's on the i9500, although I'm using a custom ROM (Cyanogenmod 11). Let me know if there's anything more you need, cheers.

Thank you for your suggestion, yes i will add this option soon in next update of the app.
It plays the recording when I press the save button .
Otherwise it may not.
Better to get it saved automatically when trying to listen or to explain to users that they have to press the save button before playing the recording.

Faсebook limited access to feed from third-party users, so in this application Facebook used to check wall activities from guests, friends (likes, comments, shares) for authorized user.

So what is Curator?
Curator is a Gallery that reinvents the wheel, but for a good reason.
