Hey guys,
i just tried to install cyanogen mod on my Samsung Galaxy S2,according to this thread. I rooted my phone first using cwm mod and SuperSu and then tried to install the newest build. But it failed with the error message:
"set metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error in /storage/sdcard1/cm-11-20140427-UNOFFICIAL-s2vep.zip
(Status 7)"
Installation aborted
It keeps now booting until the Samsung Galaxy Screen and the boots to the cwm mod.
Is there anyway to solve this ?
Edit:// I cant even backup caus the md5 mismatches

I wanted to install Beats with smooth sense 4.0 in my galaxy y. i followed the instructions where i need to flash cwm v5.0.2.8. i flashed it and then flashed the sense rom when i boot it, it stayed on the samsung galaxy y logo. it stayed that way for hours. i revert the phone to stock rom and flash the cwm again then only rebooted the recovery it reverts automatically to stock recovery. any way to help this? i also have this E:signature verification failed error msg. is it related to the first problem?

I got Samsung galaxy gt p3100. I rooted it nicely. cwm v6.0.2.7 installed in it. whenever I try to install custom rom it.( I did everything as instructed.) the zip file install aborted in middle & I see thing as under:-
set_metadata_recursive: some charge failed.
E:error in /sdcard/slim_p3100.
_4.4.4: build 7.0 - official_5951.zip
(status 7)
what should I do to install custom rom?

Phone is Galaxy Note GT-N7000
Hello i tried to install a custom rom Kitkat 4.4 Slimsaber. It wont install i get an error. E:Error in sdcard/Slimsaber-n7000-4.4.4-20140812.zip (status 7) installation aborted. I don't know what to do now i tried using the restore features but it isn't working my phone just loads to recovery menu every time. Please help i am a noob at this kind of thing!

This thread has info on restoring your stock firmware. That is likely your best option right now.

Hello guys, after upgrading my s2 i9100 from cm 12.1 to cm13 the phone became usless because : when i try to apply a zip from sdcard0 it says installation aborted, i tried to flash the stock rom via Odin but the phone is not reconigzed by any PC and i tried more than 5 USB cables, i cannot install any apk file from other markets or from the ones that i have downloaded from the internet. please please please help me and thank you !!
