(Bug) when opening I get some window to open or cancel - MX Player

When the window appears and I choose open it takes me to Google play and directly to the app now if I choose cancel it closes app out.
I cannot take a log I am on carbon Rom latest version with elemental kernel on nexus 7 2013

If you can't get into the player you can use the seperate mx log collector application to dump the log. With out proper log it's not possible to identify these kind of issues.

Are you using patched version?
In my knowledge there is no error before running mx log collector.
Please reinstall from playstore and try again.

Ok I just fixed it I decided to clear the data and cache and that window was gone thanks for the help ktsamy

And no I bought my pro version directly from the playstore

This is fault of 1.7.30 and will be fixed soon.
The mesage should be displayed is about license verification failure.

Apparently this bug has not been fixed yet? I purchased the MX Player Pro from the Playstore and keep getting the license failed message. ? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times as well as clearing data/cache. ? FIX please!
Edit: Yes I have the newest installed.

Are you installing from the apk?
Eventhough you have purchased from playstore, sometime It may happen when you side load the app.
Try to install from playstore itself.

I have tried installing both the apk and Playstore versions still no luck. [emoji53] Any other ideas? Thanks!

I actually heard from the Developer of the App and they were able to help me. I would try doing the same.

If you were to give a little more detail of your exact issue people may be able to help.
Details that would be helpful are.
Is tablet rooted.
What firmware or build # are you running.
Version # of the media hub you currently have installed.
I guess your in USA or ?

When i try to open media hub it is saying that important update is avalable. When i click upgrade it showing play store and file not avalable.

I got the same message, I clicked update, was sent to Google Play were I successfully updated the software.
Are you rooted or are you running stock firmware?

I'm rooted and on stock firmware. When update send me to Play Store it said file not avalable and close play store and hub.

You can check media hubs version number in settings / application manager.
While you are in app manager check your Samsung account and make sure everything looks ok there.

Media hub version is 1.7.0
Samsung account is fine i can use other apps connected to samsung account
Edit: i got media uninstall with TB and install from paly store. Now working but can not sing in to my samsung account using media hub..

[Q] Google Stopped Working Issue

About a week ago, whenever I use any app that has anything to do with Google Play Services Google unexpectedly stops working...
Does anyone know how to fix this
The same is happening to me. If this continue I will reinstall stock with rsd lite, Im on stock, dont know why this is happening.
I'm getting the same error.

Mine has been doing this as well and clear cache or reinstalling doesn't help. Here is to hoping 4.4.4 fixes this issue or Google updates the Play Services app again...

ART here, guess I could try switching back again to see what happens
ART is known to cause this problem with Google Play Services. Hopefully it is fixed in the new update that we should be getting shortly.

Have L720 of Galaxy S4. MX player worked fine until I updated 2 newer version. 1.7.29. Now it won't even open! Uninstalled everything pertaining 2 MX & tried download & install with same results. :crying:

There is an app called MX Log Collector on Google Play Store.
See this link for more information: https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/faq#TOC-How-to-send-system-log-
You should be able to copy the log as a file from the phone to your computer. I don't remember where it saves the log.
However, when it asks to email the log, you can just email it to yourself so that you can download it and attach it here.

Your ROM is handling resource incorrectly. Maybe trying to optimize window layout.
This should not happen.

Have you updated the rom recently?
If it's so, it could have raised the issue.
Mx Player v1.7.28 can be downloaded here.

Just clear the data, Uninstall & do a fresh install. Check whether the old version is still working fine or not. If it's a rom issue it will lead to the same problem. If v1.7.28 also have the same problem, then contact your rom developer for fix.

2 days ago I had uninstalled the "Apple music" app.
And today when I tried to install the app from play store its showing the following message "Your device isn't compatible with this version"as you see the image attached below.
What may have caused the problem ?

Open links from messages in other browsers?

So, anytime someone send me a text with a link, the link opens up in a preview version of Samsung Internet (I force closed apps to figure out what it was). Then if I want to open it in a full browser, I click the three dot menu but im only able to choose Samsung internet. Iv checked webview settings and they are all unchangable. Iv set all defaults I can to chrome. It wont let me change app link settings. I dont know what to do. Iv included pictures to help.

Edit: just realized my idea didn't work either. It works using Android Messages but not Samsung Messages ?

just got the latest oreo update and the mandatory use of samsung internet in messaging has been applied to my settings too. a few days ago it said chrome was my option to open links, now it's not. can't disable samsung internet or delete it either. would love to know if there's a fix! thanks
edit: i'm glad to know i'm not crazy and this just changed itself on me!
If you install the latest Samsung messages apk. (S9 version) you can set the default browser as I explained above and it will work like a charm ?

i google searched for awhile and found it through apk mirror. seems to be all good so far. and links immediately jump to chrome. thank you!

Good question! I guess you could drop in on you computer and run a virus scan on the apk. I have been using it for a week. I haven't noticed anything odd. But that don't mean anything. ?

Yea. I ran a google play protect scan on it and it didnt find anything. So, I guess we'll be alright. I guess. Lol

If you have a previous version of the app installed and are trying to install your "latest version" over it, you will need to un-install the previous version first. That "latest version" you are trying to install may be signed to another user if you didn't get it from the Google PlayStore and the app is looking at the previous version as being in conflict with your latest version. Uninstalling the previous version and then installing your latest version should be successful.
