360 panorma? - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys I love the cyanogenmod ROM for the HTC one m8. The only downside I see is it's lack of camera abilities that make me miss sense 6 (pan 360, zoe). Zoe I can live without but I would like to know if there is an app out there (not necessarily on the play store?) that is similar to the pan 360 on sense. Nothing I have found so far is good enough. Thanks for the help?.

Panorama 360 incompatible with O3D but why?

Does anyone know why occipitals much hyped 360 panorama app shows on market as not compatible with O3D phone or is it that phone is now outdated already?
Dave
Maybe this app is just a hyped peace of crappy coding Anyway I'm pretty sure you could find at least 10 alternatives if you need panorama photos.

this one?
"This app is compatible with your T-Mobile LGE LG-P920."
Not a problem.
It turned out it was only incompatible with froyo and yes it is overhyped as not very good but getting better.

[Q] Replacement Camera App

Hey guys, coming from the epic I an missing the great camera options it had. Does anyone have a good app they use for pictures? I'm not looking for better output, but options like panoramic and whatnot.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
The stock ICS camera app can take panoramic shots, albeit in not very good quality. For a replacement app, I'd recommend Camera zoom FX (was on sale for 10 cents awhile ago). It really depends on what features you're looking for though.

I use an app called "Pano" for panoramic shots.

lgCamera is also a good, free alternative with lots of options.
Is there one with zoom, or is that not possible on the nexus a 4G?

I'm using Camera Zoom FX and Vignette. Both are very good i think.
Both have a Zoom but of course only a digital zoom.
If you don't have a zoomable lense (nexus phones dont have) then only digital zoom is possible, which has a poor quality and you can do better yourself on your computer.

You realize since it's a fixed lens that any zoom will only be digital? Thus it's simply like cropping a larger picture to see a smaller section...
Edit: Didn't notice blackg3cko already mentioned this. My bad.

I'm also on ordroid, but, when I take a photo on instagram, all freezes and stops responding (non of buttons working on instagram or other buttons), when screen lights out and press turn on button (hope to go to lock screen) it boots on as switched on. Reinstall does all the same
Works fine on VI 4.0.1. Although personally I don't see what is all the hype about.

I cant really see an actual benefit of using it. It seems this app is aimed towards hipsters and females
I always try to take the best picture with realistic colours , why would I ruin it with lame filters that mimic old camera ?

[Q] Better Camera App for ICS

I am using the latest released of AOKP for the HOX. The one thing I miss from sense 4.0 is the Camera App. The camera app for ICS is not bad but it is lacking on some features. Does anyone know of a great camera app that can replace the stock ICS camera app? Thanks!
I've been using UCam which is similar to the sense app, and much better than the ones in AOKP/CM. Its free on the market.

I've been using CameraZOOM FX. It does a pretty good job at image stabilization and the bloatware features don't get in your way like so many other camera apps. However, I feel your pain and I really miss the awesome sense camera since it integrated with the chip so well.

Why does the HTC Sensation *stock* camera app have so much trouble focusing?

Anyone else experience this? I sometimes have a very hard time getting the camera to focus (manually) where I can switch to instsagram and it'll be in focus. Now, I don't use Instagram often but why can it focus far easier than the stock camera app? Can anyone suggest any good alternatives, paid or otherwise?
Hi the play store has several different cameras available in it.just take a look and see which one suits your needs best. They have several really good ones. I suggest going there and see which one best suits you. I wish you the best! I'm sure you will find what your looking for there. Best wishes.
