Hi all,
About a month ago, I dropped my Asus Memo FHD 10. It only looked like it cracked the screen in the bottom corner where it hit the ground, but it seems there is some other internal weirdness going on. Anyway, I bought a new one and was wondering how hard it was to open them up and pull the drive out of the old one and stick it in the new one? Is that even possible? Would it just boot up since the hardware should essentially be the same? Just the old one was already rooted and I had everything setup the way I like it. Hate to have to go through all that again. Any help or tips would be appreciated. -Thanks-

I recently had the tablet fall off of a bookshelf while i was out at work, and the tablet fell right on one corner.
Luckily the screen isn't damaged however the casing is.
I looking for a new or used back shell for the tf700t.
I currently have the gray one but at this point any color would do.
since this is such a new device i know it may be hard to find but hopefully someone on here might know of a place.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Hey all.
I'm new to posting in xda but have been a lurker for a few years. I've been unlocking and rooting devices for quite some time and LOVE xda as it is my go to source for anything and everything Android. Short introduction aside.
I bought my TF700T and dock back in October of last year and have loved it ever since. However just last week I encountered a problem. The right hand side dock locking port broke on the tablet. So when it's connected to the dock, there is nothing locking on the right side.
I noticed that this locking system is a small plastic shelf that the hook from the dock grabs on to. Well mine broke off.
How, I do not know and I'm sure I might have tweaked it just right to snap it off. So now my tablet cannot connect safely without having the entire right ride being freely able to swivel out.
*Note I am unlocked an rooted so my warranty is voided*
So I am looking for a possible diy fix. I was not able to find the small plastic piece that broke. However I've thought about maybe getting something similar in size and possibly gluing it in place. I've attached a photo for reference.
Any help and ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Guys, (SEE PIC)
So a few years back a family member gifted my wife this tablet, over the year's we've moved on to better ones, but a day ago my wife found it in storage while looking for something else.
Its from china it seems, doesn't have a name on it ANYWHERE..lol. but checking online via the battery and image searches i THINK its a Wistech MIDNITE or a81e? Cant be sure, but i know its super old, clearly it still has silver home/menu/back hard buttons on the face of the device.
My Question: How do i do a hard reset on this device using the hard buttons on the device to bring the tablet back to day one? I think this is froyo.

Bunp : ) Can anyone help with this one please?
Hi Guys,
First post so go easy. Lurked the boards for a while now but only just registered. Hoping some one can help me out a little here, as I'm at my witts end now.
So I bought my xoom (MZ604..?) back in february second hand for £125 posted, it's a the 10.1" version and it's running android ICS. I bought it as i love my Samsung galaxy tab 7 but i think it lacks the screen size and the xoom seemed like a great price for a larger equivalent. I used it pretty much every day and it was awesome, never had any problems with it until...
My son decided to kick it off my lap onto the granite fireplace. The screen instantly went black and just didn't do anything. I could see a faint bbacklight on inside so I assumed it was the LCD panel that was broke, i could still here notifications and if i swiped in the right place i could also hear the tablet unlocking so the digitizer was ok too. I bought a water damaged xoom off ebay and harvested the screen to try and replace it and that wen ok, except i still had the same problem so I assumed that screen was broken too, oh well spares and repairs doesn't always work out lol...
So I bought a brand new LCD panel and fitted that yesterday, and it STILL won't work. However, the issue i now have is it won't turn on at all. I've taken it apart and put it back together multiple times to make sure it's all gone back in the right place etc. It's also charging ok, i put it on the dock and the light goes white, and then green after a while.
I'm at a loss here, as the new screen and xoom cost me nearly £100 so it's not really worth me paying any more as it's begining to seem like an endless pit of money.
TLDR:
Bought xoom
Son dropped xoom
Screen went black but tablet still worked
Bought 3nd hand xoom and swapped lcds
No joy with that
Bought brand new screen
charges but won't turn on now
Hoping someone on here can help me, i really don't want to throw it away as it's a fantastic device, but at the same time i can't keep plowing money into it if it won't work.
Thanks guys,
Uv.
I was wondering if its possible to hook a larger screen up to the inspire, mine is going to crap so its been sitting in a drawer then i got to thinking i wanted a tablet, then i started thinking what if i just got a replacement screen for a tablet and connected it to my old phone!! Do they have the same connector?? would it display on the screen properly?? so i did the google search and came up empty handed hoping someone here will know, somebody has had to try this before, any info would be appreciated, thanks!
