Since i flashed liquid smooth a few months ago when the sound was too loud and distorted, no matter what rom im using, my volume is quite a bit lower. probably just as loud as my droid dna was. Any ideas on what I can do? Its clear and no distorted, but its low. Ive flashed prob 10 roms since then, and running a viper now. but i have to mute my tv just to hear my phone and it totally defeated the purpose of these speakers.
Any one? I even flashed the stock odex rom and it was still really low?

I have a Motorola Droid which I am running Bugless Beast on. Ever since I installed this ROM I have noticed that the in-call volume si extremely quite and i have a hard time hearing most of the time. does anyone know of a way to increase the in-call volume so that I can actually hear again? I really like this ROM and don't really want to switch to a different one so that I an hear again.
i'm looking for the same thing all though not rom specific i just need the in call volume louder and have been searching everywhere.
hi guys just purchased w007 iphone copy running ics 4.0.4 and i must say that its pretty awesome but i've got a problem and need abit of help. the other day i noticed my in call volume was really low even on the highest settings. did a factory reset and everything but it is still the same, the media speaker is fine so i can make calls on speakerphone but the earpiece is barely audible. it was fine before and then just really low, thinking its some fault with the speaker. looked into getting a app to boost incall volume past the manufacturer settings and found out volume+ would do it but only if the phone was rooted which i did (and was quite easy to do). however even though the phone is rooted the call volume option (which ive seen in screen shots) is not present even though ive granted volume+ superuser permissions. so im thinking you actually need to be running a custom rom to get this option. now this is a copy chinaphone so info about it is pretty hard to find so i was wondering if anyone knew what customs roms are out for it and actually how to flash one to it. even better if anyone knows how to increase the call volume maybe by build prop or some other app or other way that would be awesome.
Okay so I have had CM7 (benru 89) on my AT&T fusion for a while now, rooting the phone and flashing the new ROM I had no issues what so ever, everything went super smoothly, as I expected it would... until I received my first phone call, that's when I realized that my speaker sounds like its blown after about half volume and up. I didn't have this problem on the stock ROM as I listened to music and such regularly, (the sound quality and volume levels were surprisingly good for a 100 dollar phone) and was doing so 5 min before flashing CM7. As soon as the new ROM was operational, this issue seemed to come out of no where... I've read on a few blogs that this may be due to the enhanced audio features of this ROM, but no advice on how to fix it, so any advice as to how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated, as the decent sound quality on the fusion was part of the reason I decided to keep this phone and mod it... Thanks... for the record the ROM IS GREAT, other than the audio issue, everything else is amazing, phone is super fast for a fusion, and super smooth also!!!

I was running Validus 4.3 which was on android 4.4.2. I was playing music from the phone speakers and all of a sudden it stopped. There was no crackling of the sounds at all. I put the phone to its full volume and put the speaker right against my ear. I could here the music playing but it was realllly soft. It was playing without any crackling eathier. I rebooted, re flashed the ROM, and even restored my backup of stock. Then i tried to flash validus again and it wouldn't flash. Has this happened to anyone? Will i need to replace my speaker or my phone?

It seems you blew it. But why would you listen to music without headphones? The speaker was intended for notifications, the music sounds awful. I hope you find a fix for it, good luck.

Just buy some wireless bluetooth speakers. I paid for mine about $30 and it works great! Something like this f.e. (there are many products to choose from). I liked this one because you can use AA batteries or power through USB. http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/SC-MC07

I recently successfully rooted my phone for the first time and then installed a ROM which looked like it suited me.
All has been going well until I tried to make call tonight and this extremely loud, high pitched scrambling sound came out of the speaker.
I am on 6.0.1 on a Galaxy S6. I am using the latest Twisted Sixx ROM.
I feel like it has something to do with the ROM as calls from the phone previously have been perfect.
Anyone had a similar issue?
