i am running cyanogenmod 11 for galaxy s 4g sgh-t959v, is there a way to install another language besides english? the only language on the phone is english, i am looking to get turkish into the phone

I don't currently have cm11 installed on my dev phones but you should be able to go to Settings > Language & input and it should be the top option under "Language". On my S4 I see "Türkçe" as one of my options.

i tryed and default is english. there is no list for selection, just english.

You tapped on the setting that says English and it didn't provide a list for you?

thanks again fb, the cm 11 is much smoother then stock froyo. this will be the first time switching to another language on the phone.

I juste installed the "XXMrHyde`s UNOFFICIAL CM10 Build 5 rom on my HTC one S, and it works fine but ! :silly:
I have a noob question, is it normal that google search voice is not working as presented on the jelly bean google's presentation ?
I mean, it should answer the question and speak ... and ... It actually only show the google results as a normal text search !
Sorry for my noob question, but if anyone have a solution .. I will be realy gratefull ! :laugh:

It will generate a card for specific questions. Try asking about the weather or maybe a celebrity birthday. Otherwise, you get a google search.
Sure I tried, and she don't speak and she only show me the google result

Seems work if I configure all systeme parameters in english, but not in french. Probably a bug with the french localization.

Try some of these...if you don't get a card, it is likely not supported in your country

This is not a good ROM for english language users. Every time we turn on and off our phone, the Vietnamese language goes back as its default language.
I am trying to edit this ROM to make it more usable, by the way thank you.

Go to settings,then go to locale and text...then change the language...find locale nd text option with the symbol if it is in diff language

since i couldn't ask my questions in that thread i am posting this thread, please notify if i am in the wrong place
now the questions and requests
I need to use persian (farsi) language but using this rom the letters are separated like this (ف ا ر س ی) instead of being like this (فارسی), so is there any way to sole this problem?
to install this rom completely there is a need for a script manager, i donloaded one but goes force close in the middle tof the operation, where can i download a good script manager? pls note that i cannot download from google play store
how can i uninstall this rom and go back to my original rom?
my main problem before installing this rom was low space for installing apps which was solved but now i face another problem which is farsi language explained before, so can i have its kernel only? or any other solutions?
the quick panel in notification bar is great but it's 3D and i don like the look, any way to change that look?
how can i change the fonts?

plz note that Persian is a bit different from Arabic, it has 4 more letters (گ چ پ ژ), also i must add that my stock rom had no problem with Persian language (my cell phone was bought from Saudi Arabia), and i have nandroid backup, is there any way that i go back to my stock rom?

Not france. Only russian and spanish. I dont have to many time to put other lenguages. The rom if you look it´s mine

Hi... I also buy this one in Hong kong ... you can follow the below link for the root .... even you doesn't know the chinese ...u can refer to the screenshot to root ... this is the official root from the phone ......

Its simple actually,
Open the settings, by clicking the "gear" icon, scroll down to
“语言和输入”
This is a blue coloured icon with A and three dots below the A. "A..."
Choose the FIRST option and then choose English.
PLS can someone kindly help me with the link where i can download a stock recovery for my coolpad YULONG 8675-A (dazen 1 )............. it is on bootloop, and can not on into normal, only rebooting. if i try to enter into recovery mood, it will not but will display TWRP .................I GEZ THE RECOVERY MOOD has been deleted because the bootloader can not boot into recovery mood.....................i will be thankful if anybody can greatly be of help to me ...........PLS you can seen the link to my email ======= [email protected]
