[Completed] SOLUTION!!! This is the way to fix the Kyocera hydro Elite - XDA Assist

Make sure Kyocera ADB drivers are installed.
Download these files:
https://yadi.sk/d/bAQsXwk6XAVz8 (adb, fastboot and CWM image for Hydro)
https://yadi.sk/d/8mTmmVbZXAXJr (modem 2.06 image)
https://yadi.sk/d/EDlPfIEiXAXRj (kernel 2.06 image)
ftp://78.30.243.82/Kyocera_Hydro_Eli...oElite2006.zip (system 2.06 image)
First: boot into fastboot (little penguin)
Second: Extract the hydro elite sytem folder the copy to a SD card, make folder called clockworkmod/backup/(put the hydro elite sytem folder in here in backup folder)
Third: Open cwm_adb , then load_cwm.bat, then it should open Cwm Recovery on the phone.
Fourth: Now goto backup & restore, then select "hydro elite" directory then it should restore then go back , then reboot system. THATS ALL.

Click to collapse
Reboot your device into bootloader mode.
Download a recovery of your choice, and a tool called fastboot.
Put the *.img file of your recovery (preferably TWRP 2.7.1.0) in the same folder as fastboot.
Open cmd.exe in the folder, enter: fastboot flash recovery [filename].img
You're set.

If you'd like to use any custom ROM, device rooting becomes important!
Do as above, personally I prefer ClockWork Mod 6.0.4.7-falcon, but that's merely a particular that is not important.
Once in bootloader,
Hold left shift, right click on folder (or empty space inside the folder) were recovery.img (XXXX.img) is and create a .bat (batch file)
COPY COPY COPY COPY COPY COPY below
::Set our default parameters
@ECHO off
echo. This is a Full Restore and will completely
echo. wipe your phone to stock you will lose
echo. all files on the device
echo. ---------------------------------------------
pause
SET fastboot=fastboot.exe
%fastboot% flash recovery 6047falcon.img - RENAME
pause
COPY COPY COPY COPY COPY COPY above
copy this (ensure you have installed everything else ADB Driver & have fastboot.exe, AdbWinUsbApi.dll, AdbWinApi.dll in the folder)
Rename the above recovery to whatever yours is called,
Run batch file, mine always complains that partition size is a mismatch, nonetheless it works fluidly.

Ignore full restore text, this bat / script file will not wipe anything
Tried TWRP Recovery before My phone did not switch on, 2wice, justr flashed again, so much better than ClockWorkMod Recovery!
CWM works great. flashed with falcon image. then installed cyanogenmod snapshot for moto g. its not good, crashes and battery drain. switched to vanilla android with root.

[GUIDE] how to flash a custom recovery permanently

Hi guys,
I saw some people on trouble because they don't know about this method and hence, after rebooting their device's stock recovery overwriting the custom one. So if you're having this problem then this guide would be helpful for you
Retirements:
1. Root
2. A good file manager (I suggest root explorer)
How to:
1. Install root explorer (recommended)
2. Go to system folder
3. You will find a file named recovery-from-boot.p, move it to somewhere (you can also delete it but I suggest just move)
4. Now go to etc folder
5. You will find a file named install-recovery.sh, move/delete this one also
5. Done, now flash a custom recovery and it will be installed permanently

cwm recovery

can i get cwm recovery for micromax a51 please help...!!
Step by Step Guide to install clockworkmod recovery
Download the recovery in .img file from the link above.
Copy the recovery.img file to the root of your sdcard(Don’t place it inside any folder).
Install MobileUncle MTK Tools, a toolbox for mediatek devices, from the play store.
The application is in Chinese, you might have some problem going through it. Still, find an option to “Update Recovery”.
It will ask the location of the img file you want to flash. Point it to the file you pasted in your sdcard in step2.
Your phone should reboot now.
That’s it.
