Hey guys. I'm looking at getting a one plus one because my xperia z2 is just nothing but problems.
I've seen on eBay they do the 16gb for £237 but it says it doesn't come with the Google play store? Is it real :s even the color os version has the play store right?

The ColorOS version does not come with Gapps preinstalled, however, it's easy to flash them and even flash CM11S on the device to get it to be like the International model vs the Chinese model.

If you have a CDMA device, you will have to pay from a website. I did it and it was worth the $20 dollars.

False Sony supports unlock of the r800x now. just go to there website And follow all the instructions except for the part about checking to see if your phone can be unlocked and you should be good

You can use the Sony website to unlock, then use cm9 for ICS on R800x
I got unlock code. From Sony and used flashtool to unlock my bootloader
unlocked r800x on whatever Rom I feel to be on
You don't have to pay anymore. Just go on Sony's unlock site and you'll get a code. Then follow the instructions on the site. And as for an ICS ROM, what do you think I'm using AokPlay Milestone 6. Very good. I recommend it.

Today i saw an article on Android Police http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/02/04/sony-announces-end-of-life-and-software-updates-for-the-xperia-s-xperia-ion-xperia-u-and-more/, that says that a lot of Xperia phones will not be updated. So, there are bad news and good news.
The Xperia Tipo and Miro will NOT be updated to Android 4.1/4.2/4.3/4.4, but the Xperia E and the Xperia J will be updated. This means that the Xperia E and J will be updated to Android 4.2.2/4.3/4.4 and we will have probably the new Sony 4.2.2/4.3 UI. Are you happy now?

I think that we will have at least for 4.2.2 , even if now there is the Xperia L (successor of the Xperia J) and the Xperia E1

I didn't know..maybe they will make an update for us just several bug fixes..or if they pity us..maybe they will make an android version update..most people are giving up already and decided to buy a new phone is the best solution for this..

Maybe they will make an update with full Sony 2013 experience and leave our phones with Android 4.1.2
The Xperia J is listed there - won't go past 4.1. The E, however, isn't. There might be hope. Note the might.

HTC explorer with 600mhz got unofficial 4.3 rom ,htc people don't even care about updates & they even get fully optimized stock rom
Whereas Sony dosent even know they released phones like J,E with crap software ,But when they finally care to update ,its the same version with bug fixing

Well. I'd wait for @UltraGamerHD to finish porting Kitkat. Heard that it's liquid smooth. Let's face it. Xperia E development is going no where actually.

You posted a download link for apk. I downloaded and attempted to install like any other apk using package installer. I'm stock non-rooted.

Ah okay then, the app I posted a download link to is pulled from an early z2 system dump and Deodexed so it would need to be pushed to system app on a (preferably) deodexed device which requires root. Seeing that your signature indicates that you have a z2 then you should be able to get the latest version of the app from playstore.

Here is the lifelog apk!
I've just downloaded it from the Play Store and it installed fine on my Z1 with official 4.4.2 KK. It can also be started and works.
I then grabbed the app from my phone and uploaded it here for others to enjoy who might not be able to download it yet.
(This is not from the Z2 system dump as this version won't work, at least not for me!)

also the lifelog app crashes if you try certain links, i'm guessing they're still coded to sony media apps.

When I'm trying to install the lifelog apk. i'm getting "requires unavailable shared library com.sony.device; failing"

The smarband is out, and the app is out now as well but only for xperia devices. I'm starting to lose hope that i'll get this working before sony opens up compatibility.

Did you try other browsers? If yes, it seems like a firmware bug and I would recommend you to re-flash the rom.

Maybe it's a bit silly, but since it's a cm 11 based rom, did you unlock the bootloader before flashing?
Of course I did, but It could be the ROM because it has quite a few bugs like: no ringtone when people call, no camera e.t.c or maybe I don't have the nesserary framework.

The rom is buggy. Framework's fine. Try flashing another rom.
I can't do that either !! Its really weird only cyanogen will boot all the others just show a black screen after install

Hm......seems we have a defective device.....then I'm afraid the only solution is to give it for service....

Don't mention it....that's what xda is for.
I'm confused with the 'a' in the back of the model number and I'm going to install a custom rom on it.
The question is, can I use st26i rom over st26a? Does both model have different hardware or what??

My phone its a st26a and i installed the alienrom v6 after that my mobile now is st26i and i no facing problems the signal its working
