I made a new thread cause the other are a bit in disorder.
TizenMod 3.0:
Features:
- Based on the last NE5 FW;
- rooted;
- battery saving script;
- removed camera sounds;
- added Android L fonts;
- added the support for custom icon theme;
- added the support for custom fonts, ringtones, alarms ecc.
- added the support for set the max cpu freq and governor ( don't use for now... i need to change the script that control the clock spee );
...but the most important thing
- bypassed Samsung protection! By now, all the people that haven't a compatible phone or simply a not Samsung phone, can install every app. Just put the apk on your phone and install it manually. In 3rd post i will explain how to MOD the original apks.
HOW TO INSTALL:
IMPORTANT: Update your gear to the NE5 FW before flash!
1- Reboot gear in download mode;
2- Download Odin 3.09
3- in AP field select the ROM file;
4- Press start and wait till finish.

HOWTO:
In order to use all the customization options you need to use sdb:
1- enable USB debug in the watch settings;
2- connect the watch to the PC and open a shell
3- navigate to the folder where u put the sdb binary and then:

...this script create some folders on your gear mass-memory, accessible from windows or linux, just copy your ringtones, alarms, alerts, fonts into the relative folders.

- The icons must be renamed like the ones u find in the simple theme attached at this post ( take care of the size);
...then do these commands to install your stuff:

HERE you can find a theme pack. Inside there're some folder of stock icons colored in different way.
Just copy all the png's inside the "theme" folder in the memory of your gear and run the script install-theme.sh.
HOW TO MOD THE APKS IN ORDER TO WORK WITH MY ROM:
1- Bring the apk ( you can also install via Samsung App Store and copy the apk with a root browser from /data/app/);
2- pull the wgt file that are inside the assets folder;
3- import in tizen SDk and remove the signature;
4- always in Tizen SDK rebuild the wgt with the test signature;
5- put the wgt u have created in the step above inside the apk ( you have to copy it over the original);
6- sign the APK.
This might seem a bit complicated but i will upload a video to explain better. It's more easy as it appears.

once he guides you on converting an apk to a signed / unsigned (now possible) tpk it should install problem free

1st- install the rom
2nd- in gear manager allow the installation from untrusted source
3rd- install the apk.
very easy!
( just like i've done in the video in OP)

Take care only of the FW version... it will work only on gear 2 neo ( without the cam, sure)

I took this opportunity to make a small tutorial for my friends who would be interested in learning some basic icon/app modding.
Before you begin plz make sure you have following stuff ready
1. Winrar.
2. Paint.net (easiest editor).
3. Few icons of your choice you want to try.
Here we go follow the steps slowly and i am sure you will never go wrong (Do remember do not follow this guide for .9 images)
STEP 1
SELECT ANY APK YOU WANT TO MOD for EXAMPLE I HAVE CHOSEN "MyFiles.apk"
YOU MAKE A SEPARATE FOLDER THEN AS SHOWN DRAG THE APK FROM THE ORIGINAL ROM TO THE FOLDER OF YOUR CHOICE.

SELECT THE FILE YOU WANT TO EDIT IN "DRAWABLE-HDPI" FOLDER
I SELECTED "ICON_MYFILES" LIKE BELOW

OPEN PAINT.NET AND OPEN BOTH THE ICONS U WANT TO EDIT AND THE ONE YOU WANNA USE AS ICON
SAVE NEW ICON VIA EDIT AND MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE CANVAS SIZE AND SAVE THE FILE
STEP 4
VARIFY THE IMAGE HAS BEEN SAVED IN SAME NAME
STEP 5
OPEN THE APK & EDITED IMAGE FOLDER AND DRAG THE EDITED FILES INSIDE THE APK (IN WINRAR) WITHOUT DESTROYING THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE
STEP 6
I HAVE ADDED TWO BLANK ZIP FILES ONE FOR SYSTEM FILES AND ONE FOR FRAMEWORK FILE
DRAG THE APK IN SYSTEM.ZIP INSIDE SYSTEM/APP FOLDER AND FLASH
IF YOU HAVE MODDED ANY FRAMEWORK FILE THE USE FRAMEWORK.ZIP AND PUT THE MODDED FILE FRAMEWORK.ZIP/FRAMEWORK FOLDER

u have to carefully find and home on to the file u have to change.... try this download any of my mod...n compare the res folder to ur contact.apk. u will know what icon changes what on icon..

When u open that file..... match the logo that is same as per ur screen.... u have to look the fone and identify the icons....n mod...

Just downloaded rom and installed on my gear2.
checked only camera silent mode works perfect.
Boot Animation start and shutdown working fine.
Robot font also working fine
will check battery after usage

Is there anyway you can develop a rom based off the new android wear on the gear live and g watch for the gear 2?? I really dont want to sell it but I really want to have a watch running android wear too.
Easy enough. Upgraded Watch Firmware. Flashed with Odin. Camera shutter is silent. Roboto font looks great. I will update on battery in a day or two after testing. Thanks for doing this! Looking forward to this evolving into some serious customization and integration!

When I try to install it, I get an error message Application not installed. An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed. I tried all 3 apks. Any suggestions? I do have another Rolex installed.

"You need to uninstall your previously installed watch face module before installing new one."
Any chance you can support 540dpi without having to change systemui persettings. Heads up you can only install one of these extenstions

I'm not sure if it is only me, but as much as these watches are really cool they introduce significant lag when opening the case. It seems to take a second or two before my full home screen is fully rendered again.
When my case opens it takes less dan a second for my full homescreen.
I have no lockscreen on so case opens and i see my homescreen in about half a second
I give a try, they seem realy cool !

Actually My LG G3 get stuck into fastboot mod after some OTA update,
God knows who turn automatic update in my phone ,
It took me 1 day to get back my phone to working condition.
And thats the 1 day I scheduled the watch.
Need some more time.
So Guys Please do not update Via OTA updates IF you are rooted and Xposed
Always flash the update in recovery or fastboot.

ull find them in root/system/priv_app/lgalarmclock.apk
Copy the apk to ur computer change the extension to .zip ull find the files inside replace them change it back to apk.then put it back inside ur lg system and change permissions to rw-r-r reboot and ull have ur clocks

Quick Circle Themer is a Xposed Module which allows you to easily change the watchfaces of the LG G3 Quick Circle Case

Once you've got your modified files, you need to package them for the app.
1. You need a clock.xml, here's an example:

3. Now zip up all your files, in the example you would zip the following files:

Make sure your phone is rooted and your adb is working

1. Get your LGAlarmClock.apk from your phone:

Try using a 3rd party filemanager (l'm using Root Explorer or Solid Explorer) to choose the zip, currently it doesn't work with Drive or Downloads.

I froze the documents apk with TiBu and I was able to install with RootExplorer. Example looks great, but I can't wait to make my own!

You can change the background:
The one for the third clock is called "b2_quickcircle_analog_style01_day_bg.png" and has a size of 152x130.
The one for the second clock is called "b2_quickcircle_analog_style03_day_bg.png" and has a size of 242x86.
Actually you can replace every resource of the clocks, just put the filename of the file you want to replace inside the xml and add the file to the zip.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the original resources, so it's probably best if you extract your own files (see Getting the original resources in the first post).
If you want to change the text color/font/position, then it's not possible (at least for now).

I was very happy to find this app, but it doesn't work for me. It opens the .zip files correctly, but when I tap on Apply, nothing happens.
I tried to reboot the G3 but I can't see the select watch face in the circle. It shows the original one. There is no error message!
(Original G3 (855) Android with root...)
Please help me! I'd like to use one of those nice watches I found on the internet!! :crying: :good:

Do you have the module enabled in Xposed Settings?
Please send me your Xposed log, to get the logfile open Xposed installer and click on Logs.

You're right! The QC Themer wasn't enabled... I set it on and restarted my device I tried to change the watch face and hooray! It works!

I was so quick with my answer... So, I could set the Rolex to active and it works fine... I downloaded some other faces, but I can't switch to them... The Themer said (for example) the Tag is the active, but I see the Rolex... Tried with restart, just apply, reboot manually... I think the Rolex ate my phone...

Tried installing in both the ways flashed it via twrp
And placed it under system app but nothing worked.
Currently using Dr Ketan's Q04 rom.

First of all, its not possible for signature purpose.
by Lucky Patcher/Split APKs Installer (SAI)
you can do just signature verfication for your Non Rooted device for install that apk
but that not support to change the fonts in non-rooted device
[when u go to change then it will show "This Font is not supported. Contact the font provider. Uninstall this font?"]
