I have a Casio Commando and it is indeed rooted thanks to Super One Click. I have everything backe dup using Titanium Backup. My problem however, is that I deleted he xt9 input.apk file, Document reader apk, and voice search. With these files disabled I cant access and download any apps from the Market, which in turn means I cant install Titanium and so no way to get all my info back including the afforementioned apks. How do I reinstall the xt9 apk so i can use a keyboard? I need detailed instructions. Please help asap!!!!! Thanks
I don't have this device and don't know what exactly your problem but from what I understand
just download any keyboard from 4shared move it to your sd install it and done.

Use adb to adb install the APK.
I tried using ADB but to no avail. Either it's not coompatible with my phone or I did something wrong. If I put a keyboard on my sd card can I access and use it from my phone? If so how would I do that?

That just it, my phone is back to stock without the three app I previously mentioned. I cannot naviagte the files on my phone if I dont have file manager or clockwork. So, realizing that I dont have anything to check the files on my sd card from the phone is there anything else I can do?
Can anyone help me with this!?

Planning on rooting my Inspire 4g and adding a custom rom. Most of the rom install instructions ask for factory reset and wipe. I'm guessing this means, I will probably loose apps, contacts and app data. Is there a way to save the app states with data and recover these?
I think Google play and Google should help me out app reinstall and contacts. But not sure if I can recover these just in 1 go without having to push an app at a time from Google play. Not sure if there is a way to backup and restore app data

After you root your phone use a backup program like titanium backup to save your play store apps with data. Only save stuff downloaded from store though as backing up system stuff and restoring on other roms will cause issues.

Make sure you read the OP (original post) on any custom ROM you're looking into. Sometimes using a program like Titanium backup can cause a ROM to act buggy. And sometimes everything works perfectly with your restored data... just wanted to give you a heads up.
EDIT: I just re-read Gizmoe's post above... Sorry for being redundant.

OK try using titanium backup to reinstall YouTube. This should work if you used titanium backup to back up the file first.

So, I'm on my galaxy s3, I updated It to the newest android, and It was rooted. Whenever I boot it up, It freezes a lot now, and It reboots randomly and frequently. I have a 32 gb Ex. SD Card as well as the internal SD Card. I would like to backup all of my contacts, apps, and app data, and then I would like to root my phone again After that. Also, My google play store will not let me download anything, because I cannot sign into the play store, I just want to learn how to backup those things and completely restart my phone.

Well if you don't have any backup app on your phone and you can't download from playstore, first you have to fix your playstore by clear "data" for the following apps, (Go into settings->apps tab on ALL)
1. Downloader
2. Google play store
3. Google framework services
4. Delete your google account
5. Reboot phone and recreate google account
If you can download from playstore, download "my backup" app, it's great for contacts and SMS (Titanium is the best but not good for contacts and sms).
** If still not able to access playstore, you need to download "my backup apk" and install it.

My backup will backup all contacts, sms, mms, all apps and app data and system data (scheuler, calendar, system settings etc..). The nice thing is when you restore, you have option to do full restore, or just certain apps (with or without app data), or you could restore just contacts/sms/mms/scheduler/system data etc.(individually-one by one), very flexible indeed.
I'm curious why when I was trying to help in the other post you would open a new post with the exact same question?

You do for his to. The app he said requires root for app data just like mine. Also why start a new thread, just ask of any other ideas in your first. All this does is clutter the forum

Are you in download mode in your phone?
I assume you are, but just in case. Pull the battery, put it back in, then hold volume down, home and power at the same time. Which file are you stuck trying to flash?

Titanium Backup is possibly the best app for a rooted phone. It will uninstall any app.
You can go into TWRP, mount System partition, then hit the FileManager under Advanced, and then change permissions/delete files/folders accordingly.
But be careful, there seems to be some wierd dependencies going on in there, and you end up with some random FCs here and there after removing bloat app folders and such.
My personal advice if you want to be free of headaches, just 'freeze' the apps using say 'Advanced Tools' from appstore (my recommended app freezer and general swiss-army tool).
