First of all
I have to two devices, Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and my laptop is running Windows 8.1 with all Samsung drivers, Kies , Odin 3.09
Secondly : I usually update my Galaxy S 4 using Odin without problems but when i tried to update my Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, PC recognize the device when it's turned on and recovery mode, but do not recognize it when i enter Download mode. What to do ?
Tried : Using the original USB, Changing the USB, USING S 4 USB (which is working with s 4 in download mode) , RE-installing Samsung drivers and finally changing Odin's version
Result : Problems not solved
Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 model : SM-T310
Message to moderator : if that is wrong place to post that you can delete it as i already posted that in Galaxy Tab 3 forum and post it here to get more answers, Thanks

Try a different usb cable... Sometimes it can be that...
Otherwise re-download the usb drivers and try that.. They can be found in dev section, a quick search will find them...
The problem is that u are using a hub port on your pc or a deffective one try another one and if you have another data cable to ensure that the problem from the pc and not the tablet

If changing the cable/port did not work try the following:
1. Bring up dial pad
2. Dial *#7284#
3. Select Qualcomm USB settings
4. Make sure MTP is selected, if it isnt, select it and click ok button
5. Reboot Phone

Somebody mustve had the same problem
You should do the following:
1. Disconnect your note 10.1 from PC and close odin
2. Go into download mode (make sure to not forget to press the volume up button to enter download mode (yes, happened to me ...))
3. Connect your note 10.1 with your PC
4. See if your PC recognizes your note 10.1 (watch usb icon)
You should be connected to the internet, because windows may install some drivers here.
Wait until those drivers finish installation.
5. After installation of those drivers open odin
6 Hopefully odin now recognize your note 10.1
I hope that helped...
Cheers
Hi Everyone,
My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 stuck on Samsung logo during boot. I cannot even go to recovery mode (power + volume up doesnot work). I can only go to ODIN mode. I downloaded odin tool and corresponding firmware from a website, but my problem is that PC donot recognize my tablet now. It doesnot appear as device or recognised by KIES. I reinstalled KIES (not KIES 3, although KIES3 is also installed on the machine to see but still getting the message "USB Device not recognized". Just to let you know that my 3 samsung mobile phones (S3, S4 and S6) are working fine and perfectly recognized by PC/KIES/Smartswitch
The tablet can be charged without an issue but it is not recognized at all by PC through USB. Looks like a dead end for me. Any help is highly appreciated as otherwise tablet was working fine until this problem occured. My tablet UK model is GT-N8010 and out of warranty.
Thanks
Fayyaz
Change usb cable.
Try another port
Try another PC

Download PROPER DRIVERS. Usually they are downloaded by kies but sometimes, they don't work. In case of that, you have to download samsung drivers by yourself. I think you can find it in here or simply google it.
Here is an another issue with laptops that I also encountered: When you plug in, despite you having drivers, pc doesn't recognize it or constantly the device connects and disconnects every 2 seconds. In that case, you need to update your bios version. However, this case is not likely.(If you are not bad luck brian like me) So focus on driver installation.
i have a samsung galaxy s 2 plus, its not completly booting it just show samsung galaxy s 2.... i cannot get into recovery mode, and when im in ODIN MODE its not reconized by pc nor by odin, any help?
Hi,
I am new to the forum so please forgive me if I have the wrong section where to post.
Anyway, for a few days I've been trying to save a friend's Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, which apparently worked fine until some time ago, but for no reason one day the system stopped booting and the tablet got stuck in bootloop. I tried to download different versions of the firmware, from the oldest to the newest, I tried to install TWRP as the device lacks recovery mode, but nothing, any flash attempt with Odin continues to fail.
I no longer know what to try and I begin to believe that this device is officially to be thrown away. If you have any advice do not hesitate to write to me.
Thank you in advance.

I already flashed the stock firmware on my Galaxy Tab 10.1, so yes, they are installed.
