I still not yet received OTA for 30O......
What is the problem?
I have chinese version with cm11s and i had ota update 3 days ago
Yeah, i also received the update 2 days ago on my oneplus one(chinese version)
the role out is slow, also 30o have some annoying bugs that opo and cm looking to fix. but it should revive the update with no problem. or you can sideload it if you want.
OTAs roll out in phases for testing purposes. As what ShadowClon3 said, you can sideload it if you don't want to wait.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/0...-android-4-4-4-begins-rolling-out-to-devices/ Scroll to the bottom of Manual and then you can have the instructions on how to do so there.
Otherwise, just wait for the OTA to come to you.

Hey Guys,
Just checking , if anyone owning a Chinese variant of the OnePlus One ( not the official cyanogen phone ) received OTA update.
I have installed the cm11s ( 25R ) via flashing on the OPO ( Chinese ) , and later that month 30O was released i expected to received the update via OTA , but failed to arrive till today , now i believe Cyanogen team has released 33R .
Checking with other OPO users who has flashed the cm11s ( 30O or to 33R ) on their Chinese OPO, if they received it via OTA or they have to install it manually.
Thanks again
I received my Chinese model preinstalled with 25R as well (Note: 25R was installed by the seller NOT at the factory) once i had it set-up i almost immediately got a notification that 30o was available, naturally i downloaded and installed it (BAD MOVE, batter drain etc) waited and waited and eventually 33R came out and i once again got a notification and downloaded/installed it. All this happened OTA. So your should be working.
Hi there,
I have a Chinese OnePlus as well, achieved to finally install a western cyanogen ROM in early july as well as rooted. I now have Latest bacon release on (nightly 24.08.2014) from cyanogen website downloads.
Problem: I can't flash or sideload any of the stock roms available even the one with script update. It fails every time. I only can flash certain roms like the ones available on cyanogen downlaods. Don't know why.
2 questions:
1/ How can I flash stock roms on my phone?
2/ What improvements latest nightly bacon rom on cyanogen? Does it include touchscreen fixes from latest stock update?
Thanks

The OTA probably just didn't come to you yet. You can manually update to XNPH30O. You can find the download links http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/0...-2nd-ota-a-hotfix-screen-unlock-bug-download/
And then flash https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712460601
You can adb sideload them or flash them using TWRP. Bootloader unlocked required.
Hey guys... Does anyone know when I should expect my update to Oreo OTA. I don't plan on becoming a beta tester or flashing it myself.
So if anyone has an idea of when Oreo will be pushed out to the masses, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. No one knows yet. There are not even factory images available nor full OTA images on the google site here.
https://developers.google.com/android/images
Until such time as they appear don't sweat it. After they do then you can re-ask your question but you'll probably get it before you can hit send. Someone said they got an OTA on Verizon from 7.1.2 to 8.0 but I'm a little leery of that claim since no one else I've seen has received it.
I believe it was destined for the Aug 21 deadline but some major problems have arisen and I believe it was pulled for further testing. Bluetooth is one of them, random rebooting, stuff like was on some dp4 devices. I also saw some volume control issues too. Yes, I know others haven't had issues and someone will post a link to the factory images on the android site but that doesn't help any of us with locked bootloaders. Besides the fact that I like the background install and being able to use the phone while it's updating. Then a simple reboot and you're done. It'll happen soon but no one knows when yet.
I am in UK and I have already received for Oreo OTA on Google Pixel set.
It can be flashfire updated as well for root purpose.

So you were on stock 7.1.2, locked bootloader, not rooted and you received an OTA to 8.0? I'm not sure what you mean by flashfire updated. An OTA installs in the background.

I am on 7.1.2 unlock bootloader with root.
You should also have received ota update if you are on locked bootloader with no root.
Some of ota roll out dependent on carrier. But if yours is google set, you would be able to receive by now.

Well that's a bit of good news. One thing is that on G+ no one has posted the inevitable screenshot of the OTA notification (which are at best annoying but they do it anyway), so it must be rolling out very slowly. The other thing is that once an OTA is released the system images are usually available with the OTA images shortly thereafter. I don't see either of those at this point.
I mean I'm gonna wait and I'm sure it'll be here, but the question is when. I'm on VZW so they might be tweaking some things before the let Google release it. Not sure how that works.
Did yours install in the background and then a reboot to 8.0? How long was the bootup process if you watched it?
For carrier, like you said roll out will take some time. For me, time taken is similar to update and reboot as normal security patch monthly update where it should take longer as this is the whole different version. May be backbone still same but with just UI change and some tweaks.
Hi all, I updated my phone months ago to sort out a problem in games, and its worked fine. However I never received the update to Android 7 or EMUI 5.0. I used firmware finder to update originally, around 6 months ago.
The update seemed to go fine, and the phone has worked great. Would the original update through firmware finder have somehow caused 'official' updates to have been turned off in some way?
Is there any way to rectify this, as I assume most people with the UK version of this phone already have Android 7 and EMUI 5.0 yeah?

If you have updater app in settings amd your phone model shows the correct details(not NRD TEST KEY) you will get update for sure.
If need help let us know we can help
Well this doesn't seem to be the case. From what I can gather most UK handsets should have received the update 3 or 4 months ago. So I think it's pretty safe to assume that my particular handset will not receive an OTA update.

Can do it manually by flashing the file manually with dload method
Thanks for the reply. I might be forced to doing it manually. But I'd really like to get to the bottom of this, what possible reason would there be for not receiving the update yet? It's been months!

Would you believe if i say i haven't got single update for more than on my 5C, full stock MM and was on the factory version for more than year then i gave up and did it myself. I tried all the method of upgrades and downgrades but none helped and even Huawei was not able to identify and push update manually after providing my IMEI. So not sure if you would be able to get the cause here
I checked my u11+ for updates (for a laugh) last week - nothing.
Today, there iss an update waiting which is 2.19.400.2 - the same as what's installed?
The only thing I can think of is that I tried installing TWRP once but if failed so left it for another time as thinking of the project treble updates.
Anyone else had this? What should I do?
Hi, I also received this update notification today.
I'm also holding off on the update for now as its been a while since the HTC U11 plus received any updates....
just received update notice 2.19.400.2, also holding, was thinking about pulling it out, but don't know how, am still pure raw unrooted.
I just received an update notice for 2.19.401.2 (502.4 MB).
Not enough for an OS increment. I'm waffling.
I just received this notification too.
But I'm reluctant to install it because I'm rooted, and it seems too large to be just a security patch.
I hope someone did not hack HTC's update servers !?
i recieved a similar message today has any one figured out whats up with this out of no where update?
my version is 2.19.401.2 which is the same installed version ..

Ecause you are rooted you .ay be able to safe the update and see if there's actually something new in there.
I am tinkering with my newly acquired U11+ and did many attempts to install a GSI and noticed the same update. The update didn't actually change anything for me as far as I can tell. Mine is a EU version with the last update: Pie, security update July 2019.
Hello,
I've changed my S22 Ultra 128/8 with 256/12GB but for some reason my new device can't find any new updates. I am stuck with S908BXXU1AVC6
My old 128GB version is fully updated to the latest S908BXXU1AVDA (Europe EUX)
The phone is bought from official mobile operator so this can't be an issue.
Can you help? thanks.
EDIT: I can see the update and do it trough Smart Switch... very strange.
Hi. I have the same issue.
I have a 256gb version on O2 UK and up until last week was still on initial firmware with January security patch. Last week I downloaded Smart Switch and there was an update waiting, I am now on the latest build for EUY csc, AVDA.
When I manually checked for updates it came back and said that I was up to date. The "Last Update" section is greyed out.
Samsung and O2 have been no help at all, both telling me contact each other.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
I've used Smart Switch to download and install the AVDA update and I hope that the next one will be downloaded on my phone.
I am not sure but I think that the issue could be coming from the differences in the updates. My phone was shipped with the S908BXXU1AVC6 update and since I've missed the S908BXXU1AVCJ it couldn't find the 908BXXU1AVDA update but this is just a theory.
Anyway it is annoying and I hope for the next one, I will report here.
Hi, just to let you know that I was able to update to May security patch via OTA update today. All seems ok now, strange I've never encountered this issue with any other Android handset I've owned. Hope you get yours OTA with no issues
Hi, yes, I did.
Today I've received the Ota with no issues
