It begins week ago on Andromadus CM 11.0, so I changed ROM to older PACman 4.2.2. But it's still present after changing ROM. So, this is how it goes: when you power on phone everything is ok, ringtone and music are playing. But after few hours of usage everything goes quiet - there is no sound in music player or when you receive message or call. After reboot it works for few hours, and so on. There is sound in front speaker when in calls. The funniest thing is, when I lost sound, receive a call and turn it on to loudspeaker, the speaker works normal.

Hi everybody
I'm having problem with my t-mobile pulse (huawei u8220) with android 2.1.
When someone is calling me (the phone is ringing), i hear music and after 2-3 seconds sound is very very quiet and have distortion. This is not always, sometimes ringing is normal (so i think this isn't hardware problem, but software problem). The vibrations works well.
When i'm listening music or setting the ringtone sound works well.
Any ideas or something?

I have the same problem with my Pulse. I recently updated to Android 2.1 and noticed the ringtone problem. I have the same symptoms as you, distortion and low sound quality when the sound is ringing. I even tried putting external mp3 file, but the problem occured again.
Pozdrav.
Seemingly at random times I am losing all sound on my phone at times. I have my phone set to vibrate and play a ringtone. I am running Cognition 2.2b6. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks!
I just called my phone and the ringtone started to play but then stopped after the first level of sound (normally the volume gets louder and louder). It seems like the external speaker is not working. I tried to use the speaker phone during a call and I couldn't hear anything.
well you are on a very early beta build rom...why not try flashing to newer more complete rom. like cog 4.5...
Put the phone in the road outside your house, no more problems
Im running leedroid and the speaker phone is perfectly fine for ringtones and music playback, but when on speaker phone during a call it seems to be too low for me. Could this have something to do with the radio I flashed?
I have this problem from the day I bought Nexus 5.
When I talking with someone (call), I can hear him - not excellent, but acceptable. Then suddenly the voice volume goes down for second or two and I can hear just a little. And again ...
At first I think this is HW problem, because I wasn't sure if this issue comes when I move a phone.
But then I tried to play some music - it is louder then call voice and there isn't any changing volumes when I listen music (I tried also to hold a phone like when making a phone call).
So now I'm sure, this is SW problem. Speakers works good - but not clear and loud enough when I make a call.
Any idea?
Change (stock) kernel to Franco? Wait for Google update?
Hi,
I have been using Stock LP + Xposed + GB for about a month now. Everythig was working perfectly until yesterday! Now I cant hear anything from both my speakers ( Loudspeaker and EarPiece )...
I tired Call, Whatsapp Call, Moive, Music , etc, but cant hear anything. I can hear when using Headphones clearly.
I know my speaker isn't broken because I can hear my Ringtone when an Incoming whatsapp call comes, that too ONLY when my earphones are connected. Otherwise, nothing is producing sound.
I had updated GB yesterday, and in the changelog I saw there was an added feature to unlink Notification and Ringing Volume... Could that be the problem ?
Now I have to carry around my earphones everywhere I go to make calls or hear voice notes...
