Hey guys,
I sideloaded the latest OTA and then the incremental update. Facing similar issues as other people regarding battery drain. But then a friend of mine took my phone to play Asphalt 8 and it wouldn't turn the car in-game. We then tried NFS:MW and it kept the car turning right, would not change direction. I've played both the games on the previous CM 11s 25R without any issue.
Anyone else facing something similar?
is it just me? =/

Hello guys!
I am running cm11 nightlies. Ever since I've moved over to the nightlies, I'd notice my phone would have a very big drain overnight. Then I noticed it was because my phone wasn't going into deep sleep... After a reboot it would solve itself. After a few more days of this happening, I noticed a trend. Every time my camera failed to start(can't connect to the camera), my phone would stop going into deep sleep until the next reboot. Then I used BBS to see which wakelocks were being held, and there were 3: video1, video2, and msm_CCI_wakelock.
Does anyone else have a similar thing going on with their device?
Does the camera usually fail for you guys on the nightlies?
Any solutions other than switching ROM's?
Thanks.
Only switched to nightlies a couple of days ago (used 0830 and 0831). Haven't had a single camera failure yet...
Which version of CM11S did you use before nightlies? Maybe ithas to do something with non system/data partitions, that came as part of 11S?
Was it initially a clean or dirty install of CM11? If it was dirty it might be worth trying clean as you may still have some of the camera settings from CM11s - camera being one of the 'special' differences between the two.
I actually only used cm11s for a few minutes before I rooted it and went to nightlies. And it was a clean install...
I you went from 25R, I'd say flash the radio and other stuff from 33R to be sure it's not the cause.
Why did you guys move from 11s to nightlies. What's the benefit

Anyone else here having issues with Google Messenger constant crashing? It's been happening a lot and I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. I'm still on KK.

No issues here and I'm on KitKat (I declined the Lollipop update).

Streaming stops randomly at a certain time, I've resetted it but that didn't help.
Yes I am having this problem too. I have raised the issue with nvidia and twitch but not heard back from either.
This is a big problem for me as I stream nightly but now fed up of having to restart it every 35:42. Not sure who is to blame but I know the update has caused the problem as it was fine on 5.1.1. I hope who ever has to fix it does it quick.

I have this problem too!
I have upgraded my SHIELD Tablet K1 to Marshmallow once opened from its box, so I can't tell if it's an another bug of the Marshmallow update, but I think that this bug is because of this update....

Ok... happy to see your feedback, thanks
I wonder if I stay with Marshmallow and wait a fix from NVIDIA or if I downgrade to Lollipop..
In case anyone still has this problem, Ive talked to someone and it will be fixed in the next OTA

I've noticed that while playing COD sometimes the screen just turns black and the app force closes. I've to restart it again. Anyone facing the same issue after android 10 update?
Yes I've the same issue like you , but I use Lspeed mod and some others mod in magisk like ....FDE.AI , NFS_INJECTOR... i don't know if these mods can cause troubles in this update.
Update grade to 10.3, it should be better now
Do you mean android version? How to do it
I'm having the same bs after updating to android 10..
The game worked flawlessly before, but from what I've heard some people were having this issue since the game launched, and the developers looked into it and basically told us they couldn't find the issue... so I'm not expecting a fix from cod developers :c

I've already updated it but still facing the same issue. It's very frustrating ?
Any solutions?
I'm using the Magisk root method without TWRP and wondering how I can revert to 9. I used to have time to keep up with the latest TWRP and ROM developments but don't anymore, so will need to stick to the simplest way to do this.
Anything I can do besides install TWRP and load an Android 9 ROM?
It is an oxygenOS A10 issue, battle royale would crash mid game, looking this up even the op7 phones on A10 are having the same issue.
1+ 6t owner here. Updated to Android 10 before Christmas, 10.0. I think but CODm was buggy so rolled back to A9. Updated to 10.0.3 hoping the issues were resolved but still crashing every 3-4 games.
I had no issues running CODm on my 6t with Android 9 but on Android 10 it's awful.
A short YT video of what happens. here
I updated my TMobile one plus 8t to the November 26 ota 11.0.4.6.KB09CB There's a major issues right away with bluetooth connection lag studder, buffer a total mess .. even after a factory reset. I tested my one plus 7 and it does fine on my radio. I had tmobile test a store phone on the android 10 firmware with no lag to there in-store device on bluetooth .
Anyone know of this issue after updating.. is there a fix? Or an update that fixes this ? Major let down ,even tho one plus usually addresses issues ..
i've upgraded to an ota yesterday. build # is 11.0.5.7. you sure you're on the latest one?

It's a well documented bug in the latest update.
Hotfix 11.0.6.8 fixes all lag issues in the 11.0.6.7 update
The 11.0.6.7 update brings November patch, but also has a widespread lag issue

Well that's good to know .. what do we expect timewise for the fix ? This issues seems to be from the beginning of android 11 update .. First 11 firmware all the way too the Dec 29 ota... I tested an android 10 One plus 8t and the music connects and plays fine.. no lag no studder.
Anyone heard of a fix coming? Seeing as it's just bluetooth will they take there sweet time over that issue alone ? I was just about to return this 8t for exchange thinking it's possibly hardware related ...

I missed your link posted ... I read it, I'm gonna try the work arounds all three . Hopefully they just send a ota fix .I wasn't aware of any video playback lag just bluetooth from phone to a speaker or car radio. Thanks in advance.
Okay, just going to throw my 2 cents into here. I had a similar problem with my head unit in my car. The audio would play really fast no matter what media was playing. I would reboot and try re-pairing and nothing. I cleared the bt mem of my head unit and suddenly it was fixed. Furthermore, i wiped my phone and rooted it same issue resetting the bt on the head unit fixed it. This happened to me on a op8pro and 8t.

I'll give that a try can't hurt for sure .. ... Although when I try an iphone 11 and my op7 they work ok on the radio via bluetooth .. the op8t has this huge Connection time /quality/studder/lag issue regardless... And then there's the fact this has been related on xda as an issue with oxygen software Android 11 on op8t and not just my particular instance. Leads me to believe it's software
Much credit to Kevkid for your suggestion I did have 5 phones stored in bluetooth menu .. cleared the memory and the op8t bluetooth is spot on No lag
Thanks for that appreciate it alot.
I have found the issue needed to clean clear bt memory in radio credit to Kevkid for the suggestion. Also I added in the video playback from gallery fix suggestion. Both did the trick.
