I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT i9082 using this root genius however after rooting my phone I don't know what to do next. What apps should I install now? I got a problem on my internal memory, how can I maximize it? What should I really do to have a good rooted phone?

Hey Guyzz love to visit ur experiments..
plz help me out . i need to update my samsung galaxy grand handset to kitkat 4.4.2.
I did it last tym but due to some problem it was not installed plz help me out and provide me a link from where i can get or attach a file so that i can download nd use it further
Hi,
It appears official support ended with Jelly Bean 4.2.2. So the only way to get kit Kat would be to use custom roms.
Here is the Grand Duos section, you can ask here about your device. But please don't use any files made for any other model other than your exact model.

Hi all,
I am using Samsung Grand Duos and recently I have rooted my device. Now,I tried uninstalling the King User app which in returned uninstalled some very basic default system apps.
I am not able to access my camera as I can't see the camera app in the app menu.
Then I am not able to access any of the Google stuffs like Google Search,Calendar,Gmail or even Play store.
I have tried restoring it to factory settings but still the same problem.
Please help me to fix this.
Thanks!!

I had rooted my galaxy grand i9082 and then I again flashed my original samsung software which I had backup up via Nandroid backup. Now I want to root again but I'm having difficulty installing a custom recovery via Odin v3.04. It displays FAILED. COULD OPEN COM3.0. Please help. How should I troubleshoot this problem?I have tried it on many computers and with different usb cords still no results.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
All you need to do (usually for Samsung) is Odin back to stock. You are in luck, as there are back-to-stock firmwares available.
If you have any questions as to how to use them, can ask in the following thread:
> Legacy & Low Activity Devices > Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 > Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Help Thread][GT-I9082/L] Ask Any Question , Noob Friendly

Hope this helps, and good luck!
