Hey guys the network switching from 3g to lte is killing my battery. I was trying to use lte only mode in the iothidden menu but i dont know if i messed up something... Please help

Nyone found the setting to disable the 4g function so it only uses 3g unless i turn 4g on again?
think it would save me some battery drain...

Understand that 4G (HSPA+) is still just 3G. Currently 4G is a marketing gimmick. All att has done is upgraded some software on the towers and enhanced some backhaul to make their 3G faster.

I got a Tmobile sensation and I m using in Peru, for some reason the network line is in EDGE, or 2g it is the way we can change, the sim card work in 4g in another phone, some body can help me.
check your network settings and see if your running tmobile. maybe att?

I m having some problem with my new htc chacha,WCDMA/3G is not working in it,when ever i select WCDMA or Auto GSM/WCDMA there is no network on my mobie,dont know the reason behind.
Before HTC Chacha i was having Galaxy Pro & 3g in working on that mobile

It's easier for others to try and figure what your problem is.. Stating that you have a problem and it worked on your Samsung won't help anyone...

most network operators have locked their 3g/wcdma bands in India as people have been getting 3g speeds on a 2g pack, and you get network in 3g/wcdma mode only if you have subscribed for a 3g pack. if you have subscribed, call the customer care and ask if something is wrong. Try the same with your galaxy pro and check if you are still getting network. if yes then some issue with the device, else the phone is just fine.

Well your phone does that because, your 3g signal is gone/too low or to save battery. Its better to keep it this way or you have to switch carrier

So I have this problem with my 3G internet on my Nexus 5, there's always the letter "E" next to the network signal, and I noticed that it's veeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow compared to my girlfriend's Nexus 5 (she has an "H" next to network signal) and her 3G works really fast, we're on the same mobile carrier.
I did some research and found this:
g=1g
e=2g
3g=3g
h=3.5g
4g=4g
So it seems that my phone is only using 2G, which is very slow.. And my girlfriend has 3.5G, we have the same phones we bought them at the same time.
Is there some option that I should change so I can use 3.5G as well? I found some tutorials on Samsung phones but I'm totally confused with Lollipop, I can't find those options where you have to enable WCDMA.

Did you check the APNs?
If you can get Edge, there shouldn't be a problem with APN. Check your mobile network settings. Possibly device is set to use 2G only.
