[APP][2.1+] DataBuck - Backup your digital social activities !

Hi,
I present you a new App from ErgSap, called DataBuck taht intends to save and export your online timeline into a document file for backup purposes or book printing !
You are millions using social network services, storing, sharing your digital contents & stories on remote/external/cloud social services/media. Is your digital life safe enough ?
The first version of the app uses the Twitter services: the app retrieves your timeline (3200 statuses limit for API/developers) and print it in an HTML formatted file with original links to author/user, links, hashtags and tweet from direct reply. You can then use this file at your convenience to edit, print, share, convert into PDF or other formats (upcoming features) ...etc

HowTo use the App:
- Check your internet connexion
- At first launch the App starts the Twitter authorization dialog automatically (otherwise click on twitter button)
- then click on update button to start your first backup :good:
- the "document" icon (far right) give open/export/sharing options
You can click on links in the text field displaying your timeline.
If you have many tweets, it may take a few minutes to complete; we're working on better performance and better notification.
Features:
-Retrieve your tweets from your Twitter timeline
-Added the tweet you have replied to (see "=> In reply to" mention)
-click on link to open selected statuses/friends/users on the web
-Export your timeline in HTML format (web page format), you will be able to access to all your available tweets (a 3200 statuses limit is imposed to developers from Twitter API)
- share, print, view your saved data/Tweets at your convenience, the backup file is located under ergsap/databuck folder
-Photos integration in the backup file and stored in images folder (really nice feature)
-Use a tool like web2pdf to convert the HTML formatted file, like a book or edit/view html associated file at your convenience on your web browser, using tools at your convenience
-One folder per user (with images/photos and data associated to the profile); you can manage multiple accounts
-new rendering for the HTML format

Hi,
We are looking for feedback from special users of DataBuck app in order to make the app smarter.
Special users have either more than 800 tweets on Twitter services (timeline) or 3200+ tweets. We have integrated a feedback form in the last version of the app for that purpose.
Feedbacks mainly concern Photos download and integration rendering, pages formatting, data retrieval.

Nice job on the app; it's what I was really hoping to find in a contacts widget.
Think I found a spelling error: have a 1x1 widget, on press opens the fly-out buttons (txt, call, fb, etc.) - click on the gear button for settings, first check box is "Onli Wi-Fi" option, should be "Only".
Question: is there anyway to make the Widget Style scale to a launcher's col/row size? I'm seeing some clipping on the different styles; I'm not sure if that's the launcher or the contact app, maybe someone can verify for me?
I use KK Launcher and I have my desktop grid size set to 5x5. When I add a contact widget 1x1, and select the widget style as the circle, the left and right sides of the circle are sliced off. So the newly created circle-contact-widget is now curved on the top, curved on the bottom, and straight lines on left and right. In order to make it appear correctly, I have to resize it to a 2x wide; this shows the whole circle, but adds about 2cm of dead transparent space on the left and right of the icon. If I select the style square but curved edges, I see what looks like a square, but the sides are sliced off again, so the curved-square icon just looks like a squashed icon.

Hi! Great app! However the app crashes when I try to add / make a free call through Viber. Free Message / Chat through Viber is fine however. Could you make a fix for this? Thanks for the hard work!

Not yet, but good idea. Will add in the future.
however you can sent an email with jpeg files, text or pdf

How about an option to lock certain messages so they won't delete when deleting a messaging thread/conversation.

What about having windows time inside conversation?
Any way to have selectionnable text inside pdf?

What do you mean window time?
if you want to have selectable text, use the HTML option, you can then easily convert it to pdf (in windows click print and then choose print to pdf)

Hye, thanks for your answer.
With windows time I mean could export from date to date, month etc...
I mean I have a more then 14000 msg conversation to export and if I want to export everything, the app crash,
I will be taken very long time if I want to do it manually.

I might be missing it, but is there a way to back up multiple conversations all at the same time, or do you have to go into each conversation one-by-one? (That is, from the home screen, can I select my entire messaging history and back everything up?)
