Unable to cast XBMC to Chromecast - AT&T LG G3

I was wondering if anybody has had any luck getting their G3 to cast XBMC videos to Chromecast. My Nexus 7 works great in being able to do that but I don't want to use my tablet all the time. I've tried Avia and BubbleUPNP but have not had any luck.
Any suggestions?

Just use the Miracast feature on your Phone, that simple.

[Q] AllShare to Panasonic TV

My Panasonic Plasma has DLNA in the Viera tools... is there any way to share my note screen onto the tv without an accessory for the Note?
Not possible at the moment. Hdmi adapter or allshare cast dongle still needed.

AllShare is Samsung's branding for everything related to media sharing. You can output media to any DLNA device from within the stock video and audio player. An icon with what looks like a TV in motion appears when a device is available. It's how I connect to my HTC dongle. You can mirror the Note with Samsung's dongle but it's not necessary just for DLNA media output.

I think you can, depening on what you want to share.
I have the latest Samsung ES8000 TV but I almost never use Allshare. Instead I use the iMediaShare app (paied version)on the Note and S3.
With iMediaShare I can show albums, videos, play music to the tv.
But what I use most is submitting movies from a DLNA-disk connected to my router. When, with iMediaShare on the Note, I choose a movie on the DLNA-disk I want to see. IMediaShare lists up DLNA-devices including Local Android(The Note) and I can choose where I want to view the movie. If I choose the TV the movie will play, without showing the picture on the screen on the Note. But I can control start/stop, wind/rewind and sound volume from the Note.
For some reason, unknown to me, playing movies on the TV plays more formats than using Allshare on the TV. Serveral times I have experienced that Allshare on the TV says it can't play the format. But with iMediaShare most of them works fine.
And the funny thing is that I can power off the Note after starting playing a movie. The movie still plays on the TV.
So for people with a DNLA-enabled tv and the Note I would highly recommend you to try out iMediaShare (unpaied) from Google Play,
PS. My TV has 5Ghz WIFI and I have no lag or buffering problems playing BR-movies form the DLNA.disk.

casting youtube to media box mxiii

Hello everybody,
I just bought a mx3 mediabox, and i was wondering if there's any way to cast youtube videos to it, same way you can cast them to a Chromecast.
I know i can cast the entire phone video and audio, but i want to cast youtube to a queue using several phones, similar to the Chromcast feature.
Cloudcast app
Or
Kodi with Yatse and YouTube add on
Edit: using android only

Is Chromecast support broken?

Just got my U11 today, and I can't cast anything to my Sony 850D Android TV. It says can't connect to TV. Miracast works. Google play music and youtube, or anything with a cast button doesn't.
Anybody have a fix?
Edit
Casting audio to my sound bar works fine.
No problems on mine - first Gen chromecast. Can cast youtube n Netflix movies easily
Sent from my SM-G955F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Tested this morning. YouTube was fine. I think it's because I was trying to cast 4k video. The TV doesn't support casting 4k. So problem solved.
pornhub casting fine

The latest version of MX Player already supports basic chromecast support through official Google's cast framework. It will automatically show a Cast symbol when there is a Chromecast or Chromecast built-in device in the same network. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the app, and using a Chromecast or Chromecast built-in device. Also, make sure that both the device and the receiver are connected to the same network. If it still not shows up for you, there might be some issues with the Google Play Services on the device or it could be due to a network issue. Request you restart mobile, cast receiver and router and check again. If the problem persists, try the basic troubleshooting steps mentioned in chromecast official documentation. It may fix your issues.

DLNA
My device only support DLNA protocol, MX player seems don't support.
Supporting DLNA would be much better than supporting Chromecast, because most smart tvs support DLNA only.

Casting to tv with oneplus 7 pro

I'm trying to figure out how to cast videos from a browser or local content from an app such as VLC, with my oneplus 7 pro to my LG tv.
I can use the casting feature on the youtube app no problem and I can cast my whole screen to the tv but in a chrome browser or other chrome based browser like brave or edge, I never see a cast icon when I'm watching video content.
Similarly, I've read that there VLC app for android has supported casting for a while but I don't see the cast icon in the app either. Although I do see "casting" in settings.
Yes my phone is on the same WiFi and the tv, and again I can cast my whole screen and with the YouTube app, but apparently nothing else.
Thanks for any advice and tips.

The cast option does not appear because you do not have a Chromecast (or android tv with Chromecast support) device at home. This is different for youtube because every TV with the YouTou app supports "casting" youtube from a device. But it's not really casting, it's more controlling as if you had a remote app on your phone.
Smart TVs use MiraCast or BubbleUPnP, or even AirPlay (for Apple TVs).
SO in short you can't cast anything to your screen with regular android apps or your browser because this is available only for Chromecast.
There are alternatives tho. You can download apps that are meant to use Miracast or other cast technologies. I use Tubio, it's a web browser with a solid pop/ ad blocker, and with which you can cast every video content to your smart tv. It support MiraCast, BubbleUPnP, AirPlay and Chromecast so no more struggle!
Thanks, I'll check out tubio.
