Hi,
I'm using cyanogenmod 11, M9 (Android Version 4.4.4).
Unfortunately I can not use MX Player anymore, it does not start. I get the error Message "unsupported Android version" (or similar, I got it in german language).
I tryed MX Log Collector to give more informations, but this program only works until android version 4.1.
Can you fix this please?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Uwe.

MX Log Collecter is fully supports kitkat. I have personally using it in 4.4.2. If you can't run mx log collector then what's the error you are getting?
If you can, then can you upload a log which can be collected by using mx lo collector application by immediately launching crash?
FYI,
Mx Player already has support for L preview.
It's already tested by some testers & working fine in 4.4.4. It seems that cyanogenmod team has done some major changes to android internal modules. That's why this error usually occurs.

I have a CM11 4.4.4 installed device but MX works without any problem.
Would you try MX Log Collector again, or any log collecting app compatible with CM?
It is hard to figure out without looking into system log.

So I can hope, we'll find a solution for me. I don't know, if this is important, I'm using Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100).
Best regards,
Uwe.

Are you using official version?
If you have cracked version mx log collector may not be able to collect the logs. Kindly uninstall the current version & Install the latest one from playstore or official website.

I have tryed aLogcat. I got a blank screen, no messages.
Then I have tryed OS Monitor with a little bit more success after giving the app root privileges. I will send the log as PM.

[Solved]
Hi,
problem is solved.
We talked about the pro version of mx player and my app has never been updated (no connection to google play store or amazon apps). Perhaps it was an installation within a promo action. I don't know.
Best regards,
Uwe.

Promo?
You haven't purchased either from playstore or website?
As I have told earlier, possibly they could have installed patched or cracked version.
If you have installed from playstore or website it will notify about update.

I have cm11 4.4.4 currently installed and Mx player is my favourite video player. I take it this too high for compatibility but please update the app I really like it. Any updates on the situation will be appreciated
Are you using pro version? Try downloading non pro version and let me know.

Hello this is herna from XDA Assist.
Could you please give a better and detailed explanation about what are your exactly failures on the phone. Maybe it´s not related to Adobe Flash Player, I need better information to provide you the best solution.
Please, reply to my post or mention me using @herna, so I can give a faster look to this thread.
Here more details

Well, I never had any error like that, but it seems it´s related to the old Android version you´re using at the moment.
I´ve found a thread on XDA which shares Adobe Flash Player for devices between Android 4.1 and 4.4, so maybe it can helps you.
Please give a look that link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336
Hi, my device is Motorola Xoom. It's an old device. Before this I can run MX Player Pro just fine. When I see an update on PlayStore, I update it. After updating it, when I want to run it, it says unsupported device and then close MX Player by itself.
Does anybody know what's wrong with it and how to fix it?
thanks

We regret to inform you that MX Player no longer supports Tega2 chipsets. It seems that you are using a custom ROM with a new android version than the official one. As a result, Google Play has delivered an incompatible update. Request you to download version 1.11.6 from http://mx.j2inter.com/download, and it should work for you.
Could someone please confirm whether the ZTE Axon 10 comes with a bundled music player (ZTE), not Google Music? If yes, could you please upload the APK? Looking for an upgrade to the stock player on the Axon 7.
Thank you in advance!
Mods: This is cross-posted in the Axon 9 section as well, Please delete if that's not per the rules.
Mine did not

I bought the Axon 10 Pro two months ago in Russia and it did not have a music player. Excluding Google Music. Maybe the newest phones have it?
@Evil0verlord
here you go, enjoy.... just keep in mine that may or may not work, for the only reason some .apk's specially stock apps need to be place in "SYSTEM/APP".

And yes, you're right, I'm getting the 'problem parsing the package' error.
ADB push to system isn't working either without root.
PS: Tried using app cloner to clone the APK with the Axon 7's stock player fingerprint, but get the error
"Please select the original app, not a cloned app"
Guess will have to root my phone one of the days when I have the downtime. :/
Thanks for the APK though.
Bro how to fix this its not working on my oneplus 7T

Seems like the rar file is corrupted. I tried downloading it from several browsers with the same result. Anyone else getting the same problem?
Dear Forum members,
I have lineae 15.1 on my Samsung S2 GT-19100 Running Oreo 8.1.0.
WhatsApp stopped supporting my version and said I needed ot upgrade. I couldn't upgrade. Just nothing happened when I tried to update.
I couldn't download via the phone so I downloaded a good .apk file and installed it via my desktop computer.
After I installed WhatsApp the app said my phone date and time was wrong so I recalibrated the date and time but it still said phone date and time is wrong.
So it was stuck on that notification page... Phone date and time is wrong.
Then it said WhatsApp does not support custom Roms. Is there any way to get WhatsApp to work on my custom rom? I've tried all I know and I can't get it working.
Thanks Community
Tim

Looking at Whatsapp's FAQ it seems like Whatsapp doesn't support custom roms and/or rooted devices. And if I understood your question right, you are currently running Lineage OS. So I would think your best hope would be finding an mod that supports rooted/custom rom devices or modding the app yourself.
If my answer helped you please upvote it to show your appreciation,
Jamie
Did you download that apk from the WhatsApp official website? Is it the latest version, v2.21.23.17 or later?
The common prompt 'the date is wrong' means that the version you are using is too old.
The version I installed is 2.18.92...
Tim
Your question got answered by WhatsApp themselves:
About rooted phones and custom ROMs | WhatsApp Help Center
faq.whatsapp.com
Try using the latest WhatsApp apk from apkmirror. I think it has more to do with the version you have installed. WhatsApp tends to disable the old APKs.
Also, although they say they don't support custom roms, it's just a pop-up that says you may face issues because you are on a custom rom which you can just click 'ok' and move forward.

Get the lastest apk of v2.21.23.25 from the WhatsApp official website or update it through Google Play Store at first.
I loaded the latest version and it restored all my conversations and content. What a refreshing simple answer ! So easy..
I was assuming all sorts of mismatches but it worked a treat. Usually I avoid the lates versions because of matching issues.
Thanks for the guidance, I should have spotted that myself.. ! Enjoy your day.
