[Q] CM11 - Boot issue. - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All.
I've installled the last release of CM11, but I have a strange issue.
Sometimes when I power up the device, after Samsung P6800 screen, a black screen appared. In order to fix it, I'm obliged to reboot the device 2-3 times. When Cyanogenmod logo appears, the device boot normaly. Sometimes it starts at the first attempt.
I know that there is an issue in GPU driver but I want to know if you have resolved this problem by a GPU configuration or we must waiting a firmware upgrade.
Thank You.

[CUSTOM ROM] Touchscreen does not work since today

Hi,
i got a Big Problem today.
First some information about what i have done with my Tf300T.
I buyed my Tablet 3 weeks ago
2 weeks ago i flashed the CleanRom3.1. The same as in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049322
All works fine but since 2 days my tablet restarts automatically and than comes a message like: "The Touch-Screen-Software is updating. Please wait..." than it goes from 0% to 62% and than it will wait a little bit and jump back to 0%. The next message:"Please restart your device to update the Touch-Screen-Software again."
I restart and then i was in the homescreen of my tablet. All works fine again.
But today it was the same "updating>0%-62%-0%>restart" but now the tablet will update again and again and i always have to restart. Always the same message:"Please restart your device to update the Touch-Screen-Software again."
I dont have a chance to come in the normal Homescreen. So i restarted, started recovery, made factory-reset and flashed the [email protected] and than [email protected] like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901784
Wipe Cache, dalvik cache and restart.
When i comes in the First Screen where i can change my language and press the "Play" button, i noticed that my Touchscreen doesnt work.
I restarted and got the same Problem.
I thought somethink was wrong with the Flash so i made factory-reset again and flashed the CLEANROM3.1 again like in the Link above.
At this Rom there is a kind of Installation manager with you can touch "Next" button for example and already here i got the same problem that my touch doesnt work.
So i think theres a kind of software Problem because my tablet was all the 3 weeks on the pc-table at home. i did not use it outside or something. the hardware cant be broken of my bad handling.
And also this problem appeared today as i stopped the "loop-restart for touch-screen update".
Does anyone know the problem or can help me? Can i get the Touch-screen software to download it and install it in recovery or over Computer?
Like my HTC mobile phone has a HTC-Sense touch screen software so i think the Asus tablet has a special Touchscreen software too?
Please help me.
Thanks a lot.

[Q] Need help galaxy s2 i9100 boot loop and freezing

Hello I am searching for help. The problem is that my galaxy s2 i9100 stopped working properly. It started like this maybe I took out the battery or something I don't remember and then I turned it on the phone wouldn't boot. I thought maybe my android operation system got bricked so I decided to re flash it but as I can remember the phone wouldn't go in to download mode but some how I managed to reflash the firmware but then phone booted it just froze and then I pressed lock button the phone screen would go black and reboot. After installing cyanogen mode 11 the phone would boot and it could be used again until pressed the lock button it would go black and reboot so I have been reading forums and found problems like boot loop corrupted mmc or something else corrupted and I don't know what the real problem is because the symptoms are like boot loop or corrupted mmc or soft brick. I have already tried other kernels other android versions clock work mode

I have found that my emmc has the insane chip bug. The phone boots normally with cyanogen mode 11 but then it goes to sleep mode or I press the power button the screen goes black and the phone restarts. I have tried siyah kernel to try dual boot but then I flash siyah I cant get into recovery.
I think you should flash latest STOCK ROM with Odin, and then follow available custom rom instructions on xda...
Test if the stock rom will work for you, boot your phone etc... Try to use it a few days. If everything is OK, proceed with
further procedures...

I have already tried this but with the stock rom phone boots but at the section where I have to chose language I jus freezes stops working
So I think it is a hardware problem. Phone on stock rom shouldn't freeze on language selection. Something is wrong. If you are on warranty, let them fix it for you, if you are not, try to fix it in some phone repair point. I'm sure you can stop your attempts. It will not be better for now.

[Completed] [Q] Soft bricked device, screen is acting really weird

Hello everyone, one year ago I rooted my Note 2. After the root, the booting screen already started to act weird.
At first, it shows the galaxy logo completely normally, but after a second, the screen begins to fuzz or something, i will post a video where you can see.
That weird booting screen stopped after the device was start up. A week later, I updated to 4.3 I think. Everything still worked normally. Again, a week later I woke up and the fuzzy thing has been the only thing it did. I tried to put stock rom back on as download mode still works perfectly (no fuzzy screen in download mode, everything stands perfectly still. However the fuzz thing is in that other mode, where I can wipe cache/factory reset/etc). I don't know which rom version I have now (I tried so many), the only thing I know is that it's the international device.
Could somebody please help me?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The problem sounds more like a hardware issue than software. If you've flashed the stock firmware and you still have the issue it's almost always hardware. You could try asking your question here to see if anyone else has experienced your problem, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2

Strangest Issue Ever Encountered :O HW or SW issue?? A Mistery!

Hello guys!
I have a Honor 6X (BLN-L21) with stock ROM BLN-L21C432B382...it was working fine, then at a certain point, it gave this issue:
Whenever it's CHARGING, it works FINE;
Whenever it's NOT CHARING, the Huawei eRecovery screen appears
The options are: "Download latest versions & recovery" (doesn't work, reboots at a certain %, EXCEPT when connected to charger! Then it downloads the package, does the update and then the issue persists);
"Reboot" & "Shutdown" do nothing, the phone boot loops.
What can I try more? Could it be a HW issue with the charging port?
I've already factory reset the phone, or updated it to latest version...nothing!!
I appreciate your help if you can save this little old fella
How often does it reboot ? Every 30 minutes ? Also, have you installed any custom rom before or tried to change its oem-info?
Hello! I finally tried 2 days ago changing the battery, and....IT DID WORK!
I don't know how that's possible, as it was holding a lot still...anyway the issue disappeared, booting normally!
Thanks for the support anyway guys!
I leave this comment here for future reference, it may help somebody else!
It's not so common on the internet :S

TF300T rebooting... Help!

Hi everyone.
I have a ASUS TF300T for over 10 years now. It is an awesome tablet and the last 4 years it has been my daughter's playing buddy. Around 6 years ago, as the performance of the tablet was horrible, I started to inform my self of what I could do to have a usable tablet again and that was when I found out about custom roms. So I did my research, unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP bootloader and flash Timduru's ROM to it. It worked like a charm. Great performance and usability for the almost dead (thanks to ASUS) TF300T. Around the time Timduru's last ROM for this tablet was released, was also the last time I upgraded the TWRP to the latest version which I don't remember its version. Now to my problem... Last week my wife told me she couldn't get the tablet to work. As I looked at it, what I saw was the ASUS logo (with the device is unlocked at the top left corner) and then the Timduru's logo comes up and hangs, after a while it reboots to the ASUS logo again and just does everything the same over and over again non stop, can't even shutdown the device. If I hooked the usb cable to a PC it does the same but after 6 reboots the device shuts down. Then I tried to enter recovery so, volume down and power it on, the menu comes up as normal but now I tried to enter TWRP. Splash screen appears and reboots to the ASUS logo again. Then Linux pinguins show up at the top left corner and enters again to the TWRP splash screen and reboots. Now that's where I'm stuck at. Can't do anything. Volume down and power up don't do anything either, it always goes straight to TWRP recovery and reboots again. In the PC the Android device shows up until the tablet restarts again. Also tried adb but it always stalls or gives some strange info until the tablet restarts again. So my question is... I anyone able to help me restore this back to funcionality? My daughter would really appreciate your help guys! Thanks!

Hi there, I'm sorry for my late replay, because I'm not often been looking up here. Here is my advice:
The only way to get out of the loop you should do a "Buster99" to get back on Stock Rom Jelly Been 4.2.2. After that you'll be able to install the CR again. Therefore you should look up all my posts within this thread over the years. There you'll also find the right links leading to Buster99. Don't forget you need "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" to do a Buster99.
All the best and good luck, ebonit
PS: Here is the link to the Buster99 solution: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
