I tried to do this myself...but I'm an idiot...was wondering if anyone out there could turn these into splashscreen zip files? Your work would be greatly appreciated!

here you go pics match zips. remove(evo#) place on sdcard, power off evo, press and hold power + volume down, let it find file, press volume up twice(once for update,once for reboot) enjoy

Rename each file to "PC36IMG" (no quotes) and place it in the root of your SD card (Note: Only put one PC36IMG.zip file in the root of your SD card at a time). Reboot to the bootloader and follow the on-screen instructions. If rebooting to the bootloader isn't an option on your rom do the following:
1. Power down your phone
2. Simultaneously hold down the the power button and the volume-down button until the phone boots into the bootloader
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to flash

Only flashing stock rom would unroot ur phone.

thank you for help but i am too scared to flash rom with odin Where electricity isn't stable

ok now i download firmware tomorrow i will try to flash it thanks man

how can flash tow file with odin
now i download the firm ware for my galaxy sl and extract it
how can i flash this tow file

Extract the first file to ur desktop. Then put ur phone into dw mode by pressing the vol down+home button and the power button together while ur phone is powered of. Then open odin then import the ladona.pit file (google it if u dont have) into the pit section and unselect "set partion". Then import the extracted file to the "pda" section . The connect ur phone to pc via usb then click start. Make sure u have 60-80% charge in ur phone . Until odin shows "pass" do not touch the phone.

Hi! flashing a stock firmware is a good and safe way to unroot your SL, don't forget to make backup first! Hope this helped

I want A Recovery For it So that i can start making a rom for it!! ... Please Anyone Compile a Working CWM Recovery For it!! .... So Here You can Look ... But i know its not much theming You can Look At My Holo Sandwich ROM!! Hope You Help!

We don't have a stock recovery When we press volume up + power .. it shows a green colour screen and theres written ap:fastboot recovery=? in the top left corner of the phone in very small font.
What can be done ? There must be some way ?

Hi, we have stock recovery,
hold volume+ and Power,
when green screen appears unhold the power button.
when red screen appears unhold the volume+
then the stock recovery will appear

I have compiled a recovery using online tool of CWM. And its fully working. Here's the link.

How to regain your android mobile warranty after rooting

How to unroot the device to regain the warranty period??????​
This is the easiest method to unroot your device
jst follow ths steps:-
firstly download the SuperSU application from here(also given in the attachment)
now install this by selecting yes in the popup come of updating libraries
now go to setting in the SuperSU app
scroll downward till you see the option FULL UNROOT

by flashing the original rom means stock rom of your device whatever it may be

regain warranty

thts the benefit of custom rom:silly:

There is already a thread on this app by the developer here. No reason to have it. Did you ask his permission to post his app? Also just unrooting your phone does not regain your warrenty.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Device Has Problems Booting!

My Samsung Galaxy Discover Is having some problems.
I got this used, when I got it, it dosent work. The display is 100% working. I tried flashing it with Odin with Clockwork Recovery for this device, and it dosen't work.
It Does This If I Press And Hold The Power Button:

It Does This If I Press And Hold The Volume Down Button with the Power Button:
(It Stays On I can press the Volume Up Button to download a rom or volume down button to restart the phone and the phone will be seen above)
It Does This If I Press And Hold The Volume Up Button With the power button:
(A Samsung Logo with a Yellow Triangle with an exclamatio nMark in the Middle. It turns off after about 8 seconds​
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

It's bricked lucky u can find a method on these forums on how to flash a custom rom then restore back to factory rom

I tried Doing the instructions, O din sucessfully flashed teh first image, but then foir the second, it didnt work. Tried to to do the otehr file (CWM) and now my device boots up on teh samsung screen then turns white, then restarts. Any Ideas?
