At the time of the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Rsupport presented “Mobizen”, an application which makes it possible to the users to see and to control their smartphones since a PC.
With this application, the users can see the screen of their smartphones under Android since their PC and manage all the functionalities and the data stored in their apparatuses.
The users can connect a smartphone to a PC via technologies USB, 3G/LTE, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and thus easily control all the associated functions by the means of a mouse and a keyboard. Moreover, constantly, the Mobizen application takes in load the back-up and the restoration of the data (such as information related to the contacts, the SMS, ms, music or the files photographs and vidéos) resulting from the smartphones by storing them in full safety on a PC. This some is the size of the files or their number.
Once connected, the users can use smartphone remotely and manage all the functionalities to them since a PC, even if their mobile terminal is distant from them. If the apparatus is lit and connected to the Wi-Fi network, the users can change the password or put it not under tension by the means of the Mobizen application, which can be very useful when the apparatus is lost.
“Mobizen is conceived to help the mobile users to overcome the limited size of the screen smartphone and to use the functionalities of smartphone since their PC”, declared Mr. Hyeongsoo Seo, chairman of Rsupport. “In addition to the backup of the data and the restoration of the functionalities, Mobizen takes in load the sharing of the captured images and the vidéos recorded by users in order to optimize their satisfaction, in particular with regard to the mobile plays via a larger screen on PC.”
Mobizen will be available for Android 2.2, Windows XP and their later versions mid 2012. The application can be downloaded since Android Market or Mobizen website

PeerDeviceNet connects your mobile devices (phones and tablets) through WI-FI or WI-FI Direct network to enable sharing across devices. It allows a group of devices share web pages, contact information, pictures, videos and other documentations.
Features:
1. Safe direct connections.
Your devices connect to each other in direct connections. Nobody can connect to your device without your permission or active participation. All connections are secured using TLS/SSL.
2. One click connection setup.
In most home WI-FI networks (which support multicast) or using WI-FI Direct, Simply pressing "Search and connect" buttons on all peer devices will connect them together. You can also connect devices by entering ip address.
3. Easy to use
PeerDeviceNet extends Android's standard "send and share" capability to remote devices. You go to apps which "own" the data you are interested (such Contact app for contact information, Gallery app for photos and videos), select or show the data and click "share" or "send" button. PeerDeviceNet will be among the list of targets thru which you can send data.
You can choose multiple data items to send, or a whole folder of photos to send at the same time.
You can choose to send data to one, a few or all connected devices.
4. Flexible multitasking.
All devices participating PeerDeviceNet can send data to each other simultaneously. It can safely run in background while you are running other apps. You can add new data to send at any time.
Support android 2.2 and up.

PeerDeviceNet is also a framework. It provides reusable components and local services which can help developing connected mobile applications. You can use PeerDeviceNet connection manager to connect your devices, and reuse the secure connection features. Via PeerDeviceNet, your apps can send messages to peer devices using high level Android intents and messengers; or communicate thru IDL interfaces to gain fine grained control of messaging and device connection behaviours.
More details can be found at web site: http://www.peerdevicenet.net .
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Bug reports are highly appreciated.

There are a few differences from Kies:
1. Kies depends on computer. you connect devices to computer thru USB or wi-fi, upload data and sync to other devices. Similar to cloud based sharing (iClooud, dropbox), you upload files to could and sync to other devices. PeerDeviceNet use peer-peer direct connections among devices to allow them share files and data directly, without computer or server in middle. You even donot need external wi-fi if devices are wi-fi direct enabled; you can connect the devices directly.
2. PeerDeviceNet is more for ad-hoc connection and sharing, not for "syncing". If you want to share some photos and videos with friends or document with teammate, you just need a simple "send" function, PeerDeviceNet is for that.
3. PeerDeviceNet is also a free runtime to enable connected mobile apps. You can use it write mulit-player GUI apps or multiplayer games. There are some sample projects and tutorials at web site: peerdevicenet.net
Thanks for comments.

PeerDeviceNet did use WI-FI Direct as one way to connect devices. It adds flexibility of multitasking on top of plain vanilla wi-fi direct. You can send files and receive files simultaneously. If you are sending large video files, you can let it run in background, start others apps; and add new send sessions at any time.
Also majority of devices out there do not support wi-fi direct (from what i read, even new generation of kindle fire do not support). PeerDeviceNet allows you connect these devices thru wi-fi and share data with the ease of one-click connection similar to wi-fi direct.

At my work i've gotten the responsibility to create a workshop about how to use the samsung note 10.1 at work. Many people (about 400) bought a note 10.1 but many have no idea how to use it and still prefer to print out everything and work with a pen.
So, last few days i've been looking for easy ways to use the tablet........it's not easy.
Many problems occur that non-technical people just don't understand.
Example problem: I've received an email with a pdf file... I open the file by selecting it and shows polaris, adobe reader(the one i use) and other apps. After opening it I insert some 'free draw' and wish to save it....no 'save button'... when i 'go back' it says document saved......where did it save it?.. maybe i can apply the same logic? maybe it saved it in the email where i pressed the PDF in the first place.... So i reply the mail, assuming it saved the PDF... it didn't
other such problems occur and so i thought... how do you people use the tablet at work? or is it still just a gadget toy, not really helping at work? Is this high tech device really only good at angry birds?
For people like me, who like to tinker and play with the device, it's usable... but what apps do you use to make work easy?
We have just over 20 tablets at our office and I recently had to give a quick usage course on it. A couple apps that I highly recommended to our users eas ES File Explorer as it gives the option of browsing the network for files. When adding a VPN app (NCP VPN Client is what I use) then they can access the files from anywhere just as on their laptops.
I don't know how much it will help you but here was the topics I covered:
